Okay okay I was a little late to the party…

But when the opportunity and talk back came across my feed, it was my due diligence to be in the number.

Especially when a fellow @nccueagle @j_fonz graces us with his presence.

The movie was so powerful and genius. The lens of a child’s eye is something we have to cherish. No matter the relation.

As a production girlie, I had to remind myself to listen to the story. I love the way it was shot and based on it I swear it was a story within a story, within a story, in a story…those that get it, get it!

Now the TALK BACK was the icing on the cake. What stood out the most was the background story of this film being a documentary turned into a feature. Then the questions being asked were so good. I was too shy to ask one but I’m a work in progress…

I LOVE the way, the audience was asked to pour into the @j_fonz before asking the question. It felt like a little family gathering!!

Lastly @loyd.studios in partnership with @iph_clt sponsored the event. I definitely want to give you all your flowers for bringing this event to life.

Please do see and support @ifigowilltheymissme

An 11 month process. I skipped no steps.
Conceptualization > Design > Sampling > Product

I realized during this process how much I love to design sportswear.

I’m forever learning. I’m trusting the process.

I’m happy to present to you HBCU Dreams Vol. 2

Inspiring the next generation to honor, preserve and attend black institutions.
