Back in December, I joined the Accordion Houses class with @JackRavi and it was such a joy! He’s a wonderful instructor and creating these little books was a delight.
🏚
But the most special part? Taking the class virtually side by side with my friend @lpenner_allboundup, whom I met here on Instagram years ago. We enrolled together, shared progress and stories along the way, and decided to make it even more meaningful: we each created an accordion house book for the other and mailed them across the border.

Today we had an online session to open them together, our first time ever “meeting” live which felt both new and completely familiar.
Presented here is the house I made for LeeAnne. In another collaboration post, you’ll also see the beautiful one she created for me. Thank you, LeeAnne, for building these houses with me and for your friendship!

👾 MONSTER WORKSHOP SUCCESS!! 👾

Saturday was MONSTER WORKSHOP #1 and we had so much fun crafting together!!
I'm always so impressed with the wild results of this project and the creativity that everyone brings to the table!!

I really enjoyed the lovely afternoon getting to know everyone and seeing your characters come to life!!

Please let me know if you ended up giving them a name!

I made this!! Adorable tiny (2.75x3.25”) handmade book featuring hand dyed Suminagashi marble papers, bound with a French link stitch. I was thrilled to learn these techniques in person with my friend @lpenner_allboundup who crossed several provinces to visit me. 💕
