BANNERCON 2027 IS COMING TO TEXAS!!! 🤠✨🎨

IT’S OFFICIAL!!! We are SO excited to announce that the first-ever BannerCon is headed to the Lone Star State! 🥹 Based on the locations shared in our interest form, Texas had the highest submission rate, so we’re excited to make it our home for the first BannerCon! 🤠🎉

We know you have LOTS of questions… and we promise, more details are coming VERY soon!! 👀 Official date, tickets, pricing, hotel info, schedule + more will all be announced as we go!

We’re currently exploring venues in Grapevine, TX, just northwest of Dallas near DFW Airport! This area is currently looking like a great fit for what we need for our first convention, but we’re also exploring a few other options as we compare venues and pricing. We’re building BannerCon from the ground up, so thank you for being patient with us as we figure out all the details behind the scenes! 💛

We also know that traveling to Texas won’t be possible for everyone, and that’s okay! :) BannerCon is for banner artists near and far, and we’re hoping to offer a virtual resource / experience for those who can’t make it in person, which is still in the works. We’ll have even MORE details to share as we get closer!

Our hope is that this is just the beginning of bringing banner artists together, and that we can expand to more locations in the future.

We cannot WAIT to share more with you all! 👏

There is a caterpillar at my local library, that I’ve named Krust. I couldn’t help but paint it as a bad-boi. It was created by @lppartyprints and is so cute! Thank you so much for your art and inspiration! I hope it isn’t to intimidating now! #krustthecaterpillar #libraryart #muralrecreation

(Part 2/3): July 25th, 2013

I had so much faith. I had so much hope. I refused to believe I wouldn’t hold my sons in my arms.

I woke up that day with a headache, but miraculously zero signs of infection. The doctors couldn’t do anything more for me or my sons, so I was discharged from the hospital with instructions to come back if things got worse.

It was the most beautiful day. There was not a cloud in the sky. On the drive home we were flooded with so many prayers and love from our family and friends. And physically, I felt great! I could feel the boys moving, they were still alive. I was still very much alive.

The faith and hope I had that day I want to hold on to for the rest of my life. It was a belief that no matter what, God was holding us all and we would be okay. And we felt it in the prayers of the people all around us when we had no more words to pray.

That night I would be rushed back to the hospital with a fever of 110 degrees. Things were going downhill really quickly.

But even as we raced back to the hospital I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were being carried. Carried by friends, carried by strangers, carried by a fountain of hope that kept filling us to overflowing with perfect peace as we kept trusting in Him.

As I write this, all is still not well on this side of eternity. But today has proven that all is still not lost.

Today was the most beautiful day. There was not a cloud in the sky. And seeing people come to honor our sons filled us to overflowing with hope. The faith and hope I had today as I saw Jesus in the faces of our people, is one I want to hold on to tomorrow, when things will inevitably get hard, and for the rest of my life.

One day closer sons 🩵🩵🩵
