“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

I had the blessing of going on mission trips to West Virginia. During those two weeks, the Lord deepened my faith, stretched my heart, and showed me what it means to love and serve others the way he does.

Thank you Jesus for being my fourth man in the fire time after time. 🤍

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭3-4‬ ‭

I recently had the opportunity to go on a missions trip to mazatlán, mexico. A place that will always feel like home. While we were there, our team was able to serve alongside an orphanage.

At the beginning of the week I was able to share with my team a passage from Philippians 2. I kept going back to verses 3 and 4. These verses remind us of where our hearts should be. Centered on humility and focusing on others. We are all called to have the mindset, to put others before ourselves and work in humility, just as Jesus did.

Everything we do isn’t about recognizing what we do ourselves, it’s about recognizing what God is doing through us and giving Him all the glory.
