Ideas for my #tqswinterswap partner.
1 - Have fun and please don’t stress. I will love what you make.
2 - Color, especially when the days are shorter and darkness is longer, is how I get through my least favorite time of the year. Color on color, neutrals with color, tints, tones, or shades; I’m good with it all. Except black like that famous Waco, TX female designer uses everywhere.
3 - I’m happy with any piecing style. Make something you’re comfortable with. (See point 1).
4 - Some makers haven’t been tagged because most of these are older Pinterest pins. That being said, THANK YOU for your beautiful inspiration. I’m happy to tag you if you let me know.

I’m so excited to finally share this beautiful quilt that I helped put together for the lovely @badskirt, Amy Gunson. Years ago, Amy was one of my very favorite bloggers and creators (yay Flickr days!). For the past year I was lucky enough to be part of a quilting bee with her and some amazing other friends. Amy’s had some unexpected health struggles this year and wasn’t going to be able to finish her quilt. So the troops rallied to make her blocks but sent them to me in secret to put together. I had a blast cutting all the various sashing pieces (I’ll definitely do that again!) and arranging the blocks into a quilt. The wonderful @threadedquilting , Jess, did the quilting for me. She’s got some fabulous pictures of this quilt too that you can be on the lookout for. We had to keep it all hush hush until we got the finished quilt to Amy. 🤫🤭🥳 #strangerbees #quiltitforward #quiltwithlove #beequilt #quiltersofinstagram

✨Day 9: Favorite Pattern✨
This is an impossible question. Even when trying to pick amongst the amazing patterns in @thequiltersplanner for 2017. Maybe because I got to see the quilts in person when I helped Stephanie in her @quiltfestival booth. Maybe because I have a quilt pattern in the planner that I created especially for my sister-in-law 💖. But I will say the Snow Star Mini from @lrstitched was in extreme danger of finding its way home with me. ✨ #qpbestyearever2017

Last mosaic for now!!! 😉 Even though these are for swaps, I find them helpful to look back on for inspiration!!! Anywho, for the #makerstoteswap I love the mixture of linen, leather and a hint of print! All those textures wrapped into one make for such a gorgeous bag! Here is an idea of the kind of style that I like!
