🏍️ DAVAO ➡️ KITAOTAO, BUKIDNON 🇵🇭

Now THAT was an adventure ride. 🤘

Yesterday we rolled out of Davao City and headed up into the mountains of Kitaotao, Bukidnon with Johann Schmitz and the BMW riding crew — @stevenschleifer, Johann @travel.gavin68 his wife Ruth and me — along with my new Filipino buddy Radley and his group of Filipino Big Bike BMW riders.

And what a freaking day. 🇵🇭🏍️

One of the riders in Radley’s group is the former Mayor of Kitaotao, so our destination came with some serious Filipino hospitality. We celebrated his birthday with an incredible lunch featuring Lechon Goat — my first time having it and DANG… absolutely delicious. 🔥🐐

The ride itself was everything I love about riding in the Philippines.

⛰️ Incredible mountain views
🛣️ Beautiful stretches of open road
🏍️ A great group of riders
🤙 New friendships and plenty of laughs
😳 And just enough CRAZY Filipino driving to remind you that you better stay on FULL ALERT at all times! 😂

By the time we rolled back into Davao, the body was worn out, the ass was sore, and I was absolutely exhausted…

Which usually means it was a GREAT ride. 😂

And yes… eagle-eyed hockey fans may notice something underneath the riding gear.

My new @ls2ph protection fits tight enough that I can throw just about anything over it, so naturally there was only one appropriate choice:

🏒 #11 @_dylanguenther DYLAN GUENTHER — @utahmammoth 🦣

Because apparently being thousands of miles away in the mountains of Mindanao is NOT a good enough excuse to stop repping the Mammoth. 😂

Davao City ➡️ Bukidnon ➡️ Davao City.

Great roads.
Great food.
Great friends.
One hell of an adventure.

Another incredible day exploring this beautiful country on two wheels. 🇵🇭

Always repping the Mammoth… even in the Philippines. 🦣🏒🇵🇭
