Crashing Into You is yours May 7th 🌊

⬇️Story time:
I went to Uni to study Music Tech for 3 years, I honestly didn’t go to uni much because I didn’t enjoy the lessons, BUT I met some of the best people.

Some how over the 3 years, we never made a song together, not all of us on one song anyway. We graduated uni almost 2 years ago, but we still keep in touch and meet up every few months.

A few months back we thought it would be a laugh for us to book out a studio for 2 full days, all 7 of us, no plan, no ideas, just try and make something up on the spot. That’s how this song was made.

Vocals, it’s Tyler Jayy (me) and JXSS (@jxssicasxwyer) but behind the song there is 5 other amazing, talented people that build this track layer by layer. I think I speak for all of us when I say we are so proud of how this song turned out. It’s a catchy, poppy summer tune that has a little piece of all of us in it.

We hope you enjoy it just as much as we did creating it 💙🌊

Spent a few days hanging out in the studio with some of the best people making some of the best music. The talent in that one room was crazy. @lsraudio loved working on the tune as the last pic shows x #CrashingIntoYou

UNI IS OFFICIALLY OVER CHECKLIST:
✅ Made my first plug-in
✅ Made a sample pack
✅ Made lifelong friends
✅ Got multiple radio plays
✅ Got a first (if my maths is correct!)
✅ Started up an open mic night

Seriously though made some of the best mates & memories at uni… which going in as a mature student I totally didn’t think would happen. But my course mates, all the music lot, lecturers at @cccu_music have all been amazing and made these last three years bearable/ interesting/ fcking hilarious at times.

Now someone please hire me to allow me to keep playing with studio gear, synths, plug-ins and microphones all day! 😂

(Too many people to tag, so don’t feel bad if I left you out 🤣)

Masters next? 🥸👨‍🎓

We invited a hand full of professionals to TYX in London to check out the EVO 16 & the EVO SP8 but little do they know they are in for a bit of a challenge. We wanted to give these seasoned engineers and producers the opportunity to see in real time the true power of EVO’s Smartgain feature and the expanded system. 🤩🙌

Hats off to the talented and dedicated members of Control Room: Romesh Dodangoda, Jake Hillcoat, Loria Boban, Danny Kehlenbeck, Andrea Lepori, Guy Elliott-Davies, Marco Viscito, and Luke Ramsay for taking on Smartgain.

A massive thank you to TYX London for making this possible. And let’s not forget the fantastic performance by Redwood, who graced us with their latest track ‘Oh Love’ on the day.

Head over to the @weareevoaudio link in bio to find out how they got on 🔗👆
