HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped out with the expansion this summer 🤗🤗🤗

So many staff and friends pitched in to get us to the finish line – assembling furniture, sanding and staining shelves, painting, cleaning, endlessly moving boxes, lifting heavy things, stocking shelves, cleaning windows, and more things than we can even remember.

(Shoutout to Steve, Heather, Loren, Ralph, Jetty, Olive, and everyone else that we didn’t have pictures of ❤️ THANK YOU GUYS)

KC, BABY!

In just one short weekend I said “I love the Midwest” approximately 347 times, bopped around in a pedicab that was likely quite difficult to haul, got a surprise visit from my parents, spent some much-needed time with the best of friends, ate lots of good food, laughed SO much, and became an NWSL fan. It was just what I needed to fill my cup.

Big thanks to @julie.k.stayton for helping make the surprise happen and to @reverendmix and @cheltzzzmb for driving down from DSM, and a HUGE thanks to @lstefl3 for hosting. Until next boys weekend…KC, BABY!!!

you guys I’m like really soccer smart now, you could ask me “what does offsides mean” and I’d be like blah blah blah blah blah giving you the exact right answer!

I’m having so much fun living in the soccer capital of America!!! ⚽️ @fwc26kansascity

Monday marked the first day of Pride month and I can’t think of a better way to have spent it than with @mariellekraft on her tour stop in KC!

Life has a funny way of bringing things to you when you most need them. I’ve been following Marielle for nine years now and Monday was the very first time I’ve gotten to see her live! It felt like such a gift to document her magic on stage and it has really left me reflecting on all the moments that led me to that one. A small little green room in Kansas City, sharing space and talking about life and love and pride and what it all means.

Admittedly, life has been hard and I haven’t posted on this account in 7 months and work is busy and the world is…well. But this was just further proof that there can be SO. MUCH. GOOD. Happy Pride, KC!
