Camp Calcaneo, I am forever grateful for you🤍

To DG WON, Avery, Jayden, Ethan, Darius, and Spencer, thank you for making our dreams come to life. You are truly our angels and made our dg better than I ever imagined possible.

To Alex and Amelz, thank you for picking me and trusting me to lead the calcanation. I love yall forever.

To Adrian, thank you for being the best namesake ever. My first year would not be the same without you.

To Addie, Addison, Akshay, Bella, Belle, Christiana, Dani, Diego, Grace Bell, Grace, Jack, Jaxson, Kara, K Von, Logan, Marisa, Maya, Nata, Nevin, Raymond, Sanjana, Sritha, Suzie and Whyatt. Thank yall for being the friends I didn’t know I needed. For always calling me, making me laugh, cry and smile and for being my rocks in a hard place. I love yall.

And last but not least, to my perfect partz, Christian. I could not have done this without you. You have made being partners so fun and I don’t think I say that enough. There is no one I would want to cuddle puddle with or be my bus buddy to and from lakeview.

So for the last three summers I have worked at camp wow, and it has been the best thing to ever happen to me. I do think that this summer was my final one, but if it’s not then it’s Gods will. But I have met so many people that are big factors in my life here. I’ve learned here at camp what real joy and happiness comes from, what real love comes from, and how to find joy in the hard times.

The people I’ve met here will never understand how much I they mean too me, from all the team leads I’ve had and team leaders just from other teams, from all the staff and management, to all the old staffers who came back to tell stories from their time being here. I have met so many important people who are currently in my life like my amazing beautiful girlfriend Lydia, the best brother anyone could ever ask for in Braeden and two of the people who poured so much into me fish and Stephen. And so many others i could say.

Camp wow has always been like my first home to me. I’ve always been able to feel safe there no matter what my circumstances were from the outside. I will always come back and visit the place that made me feel right at home when I didn’t have one.

I would strongly recommend working at camp wow immediately because you will never find a better spiritual job that’s hard working but fun but also physically demanding on yourself. You’ll always be around Christ centered people like yourselves and once you come here you’ll never want to leave.

But I am pretty sure it’s my time to leave CAMP WOW. Always will be grateful for a kind of place like this. ( RED TEAM THE BEST TEAM )
