What a weekend! A few weeks ago, I had the honor of representing the @dsoleague at the 70th @wslaustin_org Austin Jewel Ball. Serving as the Duchess of Dallas was such a special experience — celebrating music, tradition, philanthropy, and the sweetest friendships old and new. So grateful for the opportunity to share Dallas’ love and support for Austin! 🩷 Also, huge shoutout to @pattiflowers for designing the gown of my dreams!!

Amatista Tilt 01
Mixed Media on Canvas
18" x 18"
The idea of the tilt paintings is to put you in a place of "not knowing" not understanding. The edges of the perceptual tilt are gold to show the gift of not knowing. It's reality.. NOT knowing. Amatista is italian for amethyst. Linked to the crown chakra, it is helpful in purifying the mind and clearing it of negative thoughts. This includes the negativity of stress and anxiety, which is why many meditate with amethyst so as to rid themselves of that darkness. Amethyst healing properties are especially useful in regards to work-related stress, because the stone is also associated with abundance; therefore relieving stress while emanating prosperity. The amethyst properties which facilitate intuition and communication can also be applied to increased work effectiveness.
