This summer I (finally) got to build a prom!!! Performing in this show that means so much to me was so special and so healing!
Not only did I get to build a prom with an incredible cast, crew, creative team, and orchestra… but part of that incredible cast was my family 🫶🏼
I got to build a prom with my wife, my sister-in-law, and two of my besties - and I made so many more friends who feel like family along the way. 💜🪩🎶🌈

What a time! We built something so very special! 🥹

This experience challenged me, stretched me, and taught me more than I could have imagined. I learned choreography, discovered how to tell my character’s story, and grew in ways I never expected. Thank you to Steve, Ke’Lee, Bradley, our choreography team, the production/tech crew, and this amazing cast for welcoming me so warmly and helping me grow.

I couldn’t have done any of it without my Estep crew. ❤️ Looking up and seeing Micah running spotlight, catching glimpses of Matt, Braeden, and Lucy helping at concessions and then cheering from the audience—it was the BEST! And knowing Matt was taking on extra at home so I could be fully present meant more than I can say. 🥰 Getting to switch places with Braeden and see his beaming face in the audience? Be still my mama heart. 🥹

To everyone who coached, encouraged, supported, and cheered me on, and to all who came to see the show…thank you!

What a gift this season has been…my cup is overflowing!

An incredible night at @theatrestlukes The Prom!
Another incredible summer professional show and with so many of our super talented friends as well.

Emma was especially excited to see her Ms. @rachelhopeihasz starring as Emma in the show! She did an incredible job!

If you are looking for something to do this weekend this show is one not to miss! 3 more shows this weekend.

Emma had bracelets for friends and gave the extras to Mr. Steve to share.

Treats with friends after too was such a highlight!

The post-concert blues are definitely setting in, but my heart is so full! Another Sounds of the Season has come and gone, and it’s such a sweet reminder of what happens when faith, community, and music come together.

Getting to share a message of hope and light alongside friends, family, and people who have become our Florida family is a gift I never take for granted! 🥹

Holding this season close; so deeply thankful for every bit of it. 🤍

I loved spending another summer with my family at @theatrestlukes ! Big Fish was such a beautiful show about family and forgiveness and what an honor it was to be a part of this story. St. Luke’s has always been so welcoming and I always have a blast with the entire cast, I love you all so much and I’m thankful we got to be the heroes together!🎪🌼🧜🏻‍♀️💙

Big fish. Where do I even begin? This show healed me in more ways than I could have ever imagined. This story is one of the most powerful ones I’ve ever had the chance to tell and I am glad I could have been one small part in helping tell it. I met some amazingly talented humans that have truly changed my life for the better. I could not have imagined a better way to spend my summer.

To @steveonstage @quentinspeaks @faithlboles @bradley_thesingingchef_roberts thank you for creating a space where we all could be ourselves and for helping me get to the place I know I needed to be to help tell this story. Thank you for seeing something in me one night in May at an audition that truly changed my life for the better. I don’t think I will never forget this time and I am so grateful to have gotten to work and learn from all of you.

To @lindsayw427 you are a light and a joy of a human being and a performer. your choreography is STUNNING and I am honored to have been able to help bring your visions to life. I have loved learning from you and growing myself as a performer. You have influenced me in more ways that you could ever know and I’m so glad I got the chance to work with you and I so hope that it will happen again

To the entire crew I don’t think you understand how much of a hand you had in helping us bring this entire show to life and you truly are AMAZING and the best of the best.

To @teaseandfloof thank you for creating the most beautiful wigs to bring the characters to life and for introducing me to Katrina 🙈 I truly am so blessed to have worked with you!!!

To all those that came to support this show, it made my heart so happy and I was so grateful to see everyone in the audience

And finally to the cast, you truly don’t know how much each and every one of you have meant to me this summer. Each of you is so talented in every way that I am in absolute awe of you. I am beyond blessed to have shared the stage with you all and I know our paths will cross again soon 💛

This summer at @theatrestlukes has been absolutely wonderful! I have made friendships that will last a lifetime, learned so many new things, and most of all I’ve been welcomed into the most amazing and supportive family! I’ve struggled in the past with being accepted and I was so anxious going into a new place, with new people. As soon as I walked into St Luke’s I knew I was at home. Thank you so much to everyone who came to see big fish! This show will forever hold such a huge place in my heart. So grateful💛🐟
