First middle school volleyball season… and what a season it was! ❤️🖤🏐

Coming in as a 6th grader, I didn’t know exactly what to expect. I just knew I was ready to work, compete, and give my team everything I had.

We battled all season, made it to the Regional Championship, and finished 2nd in the tournament! 🥈 So proud of what we accomplished together!

And to finish my very first middle school season being named FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE! 🏆 I’m so thankful for this recognition!

Thank you to my coaches for believing in me, my teammates for making this season so special, and my family for always supporting me.

First season. First Team. Just getting started. ❤️🖤

Everything we’ve worked for all season leads to TODAY. ❤️🖤🏐

The practices. The tough points. The wins. The moments we had to fight. The moments we had to trust each other. We’ve been building toward this together.

Now it’s time.

Regional Playoffs. Championship Day.
One team. One mission. One goal.

Play for every point. Play for each other. Leave everything on the court.

WE BELIEVE. LET’S GO TURNER!!! ❤️🖤

Wow… I really played my LAST high school volleyball game today. 🥹🏐❤️ It honestly doesn’t feel real yet.

I’m so thankful for every practice, every game, every win, every tough moment, every laugh, and every memory I got to make with my teammates and coaches. These past four years have helped shape me into the player AND person I am today, and I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. 🫶🏽

To end this chapter receiving First Team All-Region and having the opportunity to represent my school and my region is such a blessing. 🥹🏅 I’m so proud of how far I’ve come, but I know there’s still SO much more ahead of me!

Sooo… we’re not done yetttt 😂🏐💕 Club season, I’m comingggg! Time to keep working, keep growing, keep having fun, and get ready for what I’ve been working toward… playing at the NEXT LEVEL! 🎓🏐✨

High school volleyball, you’ll always have a special place in my heart. ❤️

Chapter closed… but the story is FAR from over. 🥹🫶🏽🏐

I used to think being a libero was all about passing and defense. Now I’m learning how much I have to TALK 😂🏐

Call it early. Help my teammates. Read the court. Keep talking.

Finding my voice one rep at a time. ❤️

Part 2 from yesterday!! Super excited and honored to lead my team as captain!! ❤️🏐❤️

Looking to lead by example and show my teammates and coaches that I’m here to be a team player and help build an amazing team on and off the court!

A few plays from the @bvc_vball x @bevclassic HBCU Showcase

Loved getting the opportunity to compete, make plays, and battle alongside my team! Every rally is another chance to learn, compete, and show what I can bring to the court. 💪🏾

Huge thank you to Coach Speed & @coach_tyemiller for putting together such an amazing showcase and creating opportunities for athletes to be seen. 🙏🏾🖤

Thank you to all the college coaches who attended, thank you for watching, supporting, and investing your time in us.

It truly means a lot!

Work speaks louder. I’II keep letting mine speak. 🏐🎓🖤

Yesterday was a day I’ll never forget. ❤️🖤🏐

At our team naming ceremony, we signed our team pledge and each received a name that represents something our coaches and teammates see in us.

Mine was MAESTRO. 🎼🏐

Hearing the words they used to describe me made me smile so big. 🥹❤️ Knowing that my team sees those things in me makes the name even more special, and I’m going to do my best to live up to it every time I step on the court.

And today… I finally get to step on that court.

TODAY IS MY VERY FIRST MIDDLE SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL GAME!! 🏐❤️🖤

All the practices. All the training. All the reps. All those days trying to get 1% better.

Today I get to put on my Turner jersey, play beside my teammates and represent my school for the very first time.

I’m nervous. I’m excited. And I’m READY!! 😁🏐

Maestro has entered the gym. 🎼🏐❤️🖤

Some days the workout gets HARD 😩😂 but quitting isn’t an option!

I’m learning that getting stronger isn’t supposed to be easy. You get tired, you keep going, and you finish what you started. 💪🏾

One workout at a time. One rep at a time. 1% better every day. 💜🏐
