Ai Fact Of The Day 🧠✨ Diving Into Cognitive Computing ✨🧠 Today, let’s unravel the fascinating concept of Cognitive Computing - a term famously coined by @ibm to describe a new era of computing systems that mimic the human brain’s functioning. 🚀

Why “Cognitive”? Because in a world bloated with data, where humans have reached the limits of cognitive loads - these Ai systems are designed to learn and interact naturally with humans, aiming to augment human decision-making by digesting enormous amounts of data and providing insights that were previously unimaginable. 🤯

👉 Why IBM Embraced Cognitive Computing: IBM envisioned a world where computers could do more than just follow programmed instructions. They aimed for systems that could understand, reason, learn, and interact with humans in a way that feels natural. Cognitive computing (eg. DeepBlue & Watson) was their answer to making technology more intuitive and capable of solving complex, nuanced problems in various fields such as healthcare, finance, and customer service.

🔍 Real-World Impact:
- In healthcare, cognitive systems analyze medical data to assist in diagnosis and treatment plans.
- In finance, they help in detecting fraud and managing risk by analyzing patterns in vast data sets.
- In customer service, they provide personalized recommendations and support, enhancing customer experience.

💭 Query for the Day: As we stand on the brink of this industrial revolution, where data is oil and Ai is the engine, how do you see Ai / cognitive computing shaping the future? Are you ready for machines that think and learn like us? 🌐 #CognitiveComputing #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #ML #NLU

Wepa! Got to see & meet @badbunnypr at his first ever tech pitch competition supporting Latinx/e entrepreneurs at @forbes @forbesunder30 alongside @jomayrah ! Proud to see our community being the headliners at this gathering influencing the next gen! Guess what? The next gen is Latinx! Here’s why:
✅ Hispanics & Latinx/e account for over 50% of US population growth (US Census)
✅Latinos accounted for 25% of the nation’s 54 million K-12 students (Pew Research)
✅78% of net new workers between 2020 and 2030 will be Hispanic & Latinx/e (Dept of Labor)
✅Youngest cohort of the US population, with a median age of 29.8 vs 38.5 for the entire US population (USA Facts 2021)
✅ Latinx/e are multi racial & multi gen with AfroLatinx being the fastest growing segment
So if you don’t have an explicit Latinx/e strategy in YOUR organization what are you doing? Is your leadership, talent, owners, investors representative of this population shift? If not, you need to.
