My first-ever Taiwan tour this July finally brought my music to life in Taipei. Spending those few days with all of you was an unforgettable experience. Since a trip like this doesn't happen every day, I made sure to mix a special show for Toha Radio. Leaving these marks here means everything to me.

Music:

1. Dirty K - DNA
2. Dirty K -
3. 爹波重節奏 — @moliang_0103 莫良
4. Fast Cars & Superstars 2026 Mix —@moliang_0103 莫良
6. Hyper Party Song [Live Version]
7. Be.King

WINTER’S MEMORY —
Fuyu no Kioku

Setting up my new studio has meant opening boxes, reorganising years of work and inevitably rediscovering pieces I haven’t seen for a very long time.

This is one of them.

Winter’s Memory was created during Four Seasons of the Five Elements (circa 2017), an earlier project exploring my deep connection with Japan — its traditions, craftsmanship, visual culture and the possibilities that emerge when those influences are interpreted in a contemporary way.

Looking at this piece again after so many years, I can see something I probably couldn’t see quite as clearly at the time: the beginning of ideas that stayed with me, developed, changed direction and eventually became part of the thinking behind Takumi in Time.

That’s one of the things I find fascinating about making Art. An idea doesn’t necessarily end when a project ends. Sometimes it sits quietly in the background for years before appearing again in an entirely different form.

Light was fundamental to Four Seasons of the Five Elements. I’m enormously proud to be an ARRI Photography Ambassador, and particularly proud that ARRI selected work from the project to showcase their lighting.

Perhaps that’s the unexpected pleasure of building a new studio. While you’re making space for what comes next, you sometimes rediscover where the journey began.

Its a Thursday!!
A litu #TBT as I look back to a month that had a probability of turning out quite different!!
Ya'll were asking about the red eye at the start of the month.....
Uhm, I wore sugarcane by some boda boda guys, we are living in very dangerous times, take care.
All in all, I really appreciate my support system, my people from my MD @mankandwiki , my siblings from other parents @akumu_beryl & @salasya_levius and to my other DRR @brian_for_magana who came through solid.

WHITE
Takumi in Time

Inspired by the Japanese concept of Yohaku (余白) — the meaningful space between things.

WHITE explores the delicate space between presence and absence, where memory lingers and transformation begins.

“With every tear of sadness, there lies a reflection of joy, both bound by memories, woven intrinsically in time and space.”
