GET TO KNOW Coach Lu (1/2) 🎤

Before the Turf, there was the field. Baseball was more than just a sport for Lu; it was his therapy.

Now he gets to bring that same passion from the field to the Turf. 🔥

BURPEES 2 BEAT BREAST CANCER

This October, every dollar and every burpee has a purpose.

We’re raising money for the Fader Family at Englewood Health.

Here’s how it works:

1️⃣ DONATE: Every $1 donated = 1 burpee committed to the coach of your choice.

2️⃣ PICK YOUR COACH: Choose who will be feeling the burn! $25 = 25 burpees, $50 = 50 burpees, and so on. 👀 or split your contributions amongst them 🤭

3️⃣ HONOR YOUR WARRIOR: Know someone fighting or who has fought breast cancer? Send us their photo, and we’ll proudly display it on our door as a reminder of who we’re fighting for.

This campaign is personal, and every contribution helps support patients who need access to care.

We’ll bring the burpees. You bring the heart. 💗

📍Stop by the front desk to donate and choose your coach!

🗣️ shoutout to @_nicole.mallari for being our first donor

Full-body lift after our bullpens! ⚾️💪

Keeping it simple with bilateral and unilateral movements to build strength, improve stability, and keep our guys healthy throughout the fall. Still got a lot to work on!

There’s a HUGE difference between lifting weights and TRAINING.

When you’re just lifting weights, you’re going through the motions. No real purpose, bad repetitions, no control, and no goal behind what you’re doing.

When you’re TRAINING, there’s intent and focus behind EVERY rep. You’re preparing yourself to go to war later in the week, identifying weaknesses in your body, and figuring out what needs to be addressed in future training sessions.

Don’t just lift to lift. Train with a PURPOSE!

If you don’t know where to start, shoot us a DM! We can help you take your game to the next level!

This weekend we’re coming together for more than just a workout. 💚

Following the recent earthquakes in Colombia, we’re partnering with members of our community to collect essential items for people who need them most.

If you’re joining us for our Mega Workout, we’re asking you to bring whatever you can from the list below:

👇Here’s what we’re collecting:

- Personal Hygiene Products
- First Aid Kits & Pain Medication
- New/Gently Used Clothing & Blankets
- Non-Perishable Foods
- Diapers
- Pet Food & Medication
- Lightly Used Running, Training, & Athletic Shoes

We’re also collecting lightly used sneakers. These will be donated in exchange for funds that can be sent to support those affected.

Every item helps. Every pair of sneakers helps. And when we come together as a community, we can make a much bigger impact.

If you’re coming to the Mega Workout, bring a donation with you. Let’s train with purpose. 💪🏽❤️🇨🇴

Being able to warm up your ankles and move them quickly throughout your warmup will set you up for success.

As a pitcher, your ability to quickly put energy into the ground and efficiently get it back out is key to creating force and moving athletically on the mound.

We can progress these movements by increasing the speed or adding a resistance band to involve more musculature. But because this is a warmup, the goal was simple: fire up the body, move with intent, and get ready for the session.
