Something about this market just felt different! The energy was HIGH, the connections were genuine, and the excitement was contagious! What a time we had!

Being at High Point Market we are surrounded by beautiful products - furniture, rugs, lighting, art and many items I dream of having in my home.

And our brains get full of information from educational panels and stimulating conversation about the business, what it takes to run a successful and profitable design firm across sales, marketing, finance, operations and leadership.

We walk and walk from showroom to showroom. We eat whenever we can and rely on snacks we packed in case we miss the opportunity.

We often stay up late and function on little sleep, yet somehow still have high energy (most of the time). 🤣

But it’s the people that make the experience. The genuine connections. The spontaneous gatherings. The laughter. The sharing. The openness to tell stories that help others. This is what I love.

These are just a handful of candid shots I took of fabulous people I got to see or spend time with during this HPM. My photo album is overflowing with memories.

Celebrating LuAnn’s birthday and 10 years of her podcast were extra special. I am beyond grateful for @luannnigara and our connection.

Imagine being in business for 18 years, bringing in nearly SEVEN FIGURES in revenue, and being ready to close your doors because you're barely making any profit!

Was it really just 4 days? I blinked and missed it!
Amazing market. I loved meeting so many of you at @highpointmarket this weekend.
Thank you to @hookerfurnishings for hosting AI powered presentations in minutes and packing out the space!
And to Howard Elliott for letting me meet with designers one on one in your showroom all weekend! And to everyone that attended a session (they were so fun ill be doing more next time for sure!) Or the @howard.elliott social. I love all the chats I was able to have and help solve AI issues on the spot.

And to @amadicollective for hosting our panel yesterday with @swink.social.co @thelifestylehistorian @thymeandplacedesign @poisedandplumb and to @sauritcreative for organizing it and the ladies and tech meet up after!

Love this women in home technology group @jensmiga brilliantly organized for us. Stay tuned for more 😉

This morning I virtually presented at a furniture summit in Italy before driving home in time to get this kids after school. Hope to be there live next time!

Now I will take a day to recover and catchup. But thats just a little taste of the whirlwind that is my Market from the perspective of @aiforinteriordesigners 🧡

Whether I’m there for days or just squeezing in a quick visit, High Point Market is something I look forward to twice a year! One of my favorite parts of High Point Market was connecting with such wonderful women in the design industry!
