Live on @worldwide.fm in a couple of hours with a set recorded earlier this month at Gottwood, when I got the chance to play at Love Ensemble Sound System x Pondlife Yurt ❤️ This ended up being a set that feels like a really good representation of LUAR. I’d brought a bag of records and started pulling out some of the things I play there a lot. The energy in the yurt was insane: the loveliest crew, dancers fully in it, feeling of celebration. Something really special happened in that space, and it’s honestly hard to put into words. It reminded me exactly why this little labour of love is so worth it. Feeling very lucky to have played on the Love Ensemble soundsystem, built with so much love and care by two dear friends (@joss_stoddart_studio & @humblebflat). It was one of those moments where so many special pieces came together, and it ended up being my favourite gig I’ve played so far. The sound, the crew, the steeeez (@edieashley 🫶), everything around it just made it so easy to play freely. Thank you @zaereo for the invite to WWFM, and for letting me represent @luarlisboa ~ a collective party that keeps growing through all the friends who collaborate and make the space what it is. Big up @loveensemblesoundsystem @pondliiife @luarlisboa and all the friends involved 🪐💫 ofc 🫰🏼💓 to @humblebflat for being the absolute best music and adventure buddy these past few weeks

Desta vez, teremos uma banda - Horses In Heels ✨ Horses In Heels @horses.in.heels Esperem circo, esperem punk, até algo ligeiramente etéreo. As nossas canções misturam humor, o quotidiano e preocupações sociais. - LUAR is a dance party (now with day-time editions), with an analogue sound system, aiming to create space for dancers and music lovers. We encourage showing up in good spirits and with an open mind. There’s no fixed genre, the intention is to travel. We hope the party becomes a space where music leads and expression follows. This time we’ll have a band - Horses In Heels ✨ Horses In Heels @horses.in.heels Expect circus, expect punk, even something ever-so-slightly ethereal. Our songs mix humour, the ordinary and social concerns. So saddle up - we’ve got pigeons to praise and chaos to stir! Started the year doing what I like the most, spinning records in @arrozestudios and passing by the @esrlive studio, this time with a set full of good ol’tech-house bangers, keeping the groove minimalistic with fat basslines 🫠 Muito obrigado pelo espaço e lindo trato, foi incrível!

- LUAR is a party created among friends, for music and the desire to occupy space in their own way. Analog sound system, dance floor in the center, and an environment designed for listening and dancing. The idea is to keep everything accessible, simple, and collective—an independent party, without rigid boundaries, but always organized with care and intention. The music changes all the time: it can go from Brazilian to house, jazz, or whatever makes sense at the moment. Each edition adapts to the people who arrive and the space where it takes place. The one at Arroz will be the first daytime event, and we are curious and very excited to set up a decorated dance floor, with cozy music and lots of lovely people. Saturday November 29th: 16h > 23h 💫
