Most people think better work comes from bigger changes. It doesn’t. It comes from small decisions stacking up. A light moved a few inches. A different lens choice. An outfit that actually matches the brand. A cleaner background. A slightly better angle. More intentional framing. None of these feel like a big deal on their own. But together? They’re the difference between: “that looks decent” and “that feels like a commercial” This is the part most people rush. They set it up… and just start shooting. Instead of stopping… looking… adjusting. That’s where the real work happens. Not in the edit. Not in the camera. In the details you almost ignore. If you want your work to feel higher level... Start paying attention to the small things. They’re not small. 🎥 Full BTS + breakdown from the Velocity Gear campaign is live (link in bio) Client: @velocitygearusa Director / DP / Creative Director: @kyleloftusstudios Camera Operator / Key Gaffer: @enmanuelzabala18 Photographer: @kyleloftusstudios BTS & AC: @cinematicframesstudios Editor: @_jpsinger Athletes: @Luc1s @Keyfitness_jr @_thededication #cinematography #filmmaking #onset🎥🎬 #behindthescenes🎬

Most people think great commercials just happen on set. They don't. They happen because the direction is crystal clear before you hit record. The athlete knows what movement matters. The timing is locked. The energy is set. Five seconds of intentional direction led to a commercial that hits different. And here's what I've learned: vague direction creates vague results. Specific direction creates cinematic moments. Your job as a director isn't to control every detail. It's to communicate the vision clearly enough that talent can execute with confidence. That's how you go from a good take to something that actually lands. The probe lens is one of those things that looks completely bizarre while you're shooting it. The athlete moving slow. The lens right in their face. Everyone on set kind of looking around like... is this actually gonna work? It works. Because the shot wasn't designed for how it felt to film. It was designed for how it would land in the edit. That's the shift that changed how I approach almost every production now. Stop asking "does this look cool right now" and start asking "what does the edit actually need." Two totally different questions. Very different results. Save this for your next shot list. 🎥 Full BTS + breakdown is live on YouTube (link in bio) Client: @velocitygearusa Director / DP / Creative Director: @kyleloftusstudios Camera Operator / Key Gaffer: @enmanuelzabala18 Photographer: @kyleloftusstudios BTS & AC: @cinematicframesstudios Editor: @_jpsinger Athletes: @luc1s @keyfitness_jr @_thededication

🔥Prove Them Wrong🔥 They said you couldn’t. They said you wouldn’t. So you trained when no one was watching. Now it’s time to show them what grind really looks like. This is for everyone who’s ever been doubted. #killclifffc #mma #training #motivational #sparring
