A milestone they’ll remember forever. 🩰🤍✨

Last week, these beautiful @official_fsdandacademy dancers got fit with their very first pair of pointe shoes! After years of training, hard work, corrections, and perseverance, what an honor it is to witness this exciting new chapter in their ballet journey.

May these shoes always remind you of how far you’ve come—and may you carry the strength, discipline, artistry, and joy of ballet with you every step of the way.

I want to extend a HUGE thank you to @toetotoedancewear and @nemitzs for all of your help throughout this process! Our dancers had the best experience working with your talented staff, and I am confident that they all got a beautiful fit! Mad love for you all!❤️

Congratulations, dancers! We are so proud of you and excited to see what this year will bring! 😍📸

So proud of all these FDA dancers who put in so much work at @newdancefest over the past 2 weeks. Not only did they give their all to the intensive but they then drove directly to FDA for all their evening classes- still giving 100%. It’s so amazing to hear other instructors compliment them and acknowledge their talent and dedication. Great job girls! You should be so proud of yourselves!

@lucadancer_ has her game face on during her ballet private after she spent an incredible week with @joffreymidwest! I am so grateful to their wonderful faculty and all the knowledge they shared with her during her time there! 🥹💖

I always talk to my students about the 3 C’s when I am teaching pirouettes! They are as follows:

1. Coordination

2. Consistently

3. Control

These 3 elements are really what will make a difference in their pirouettes! We have also been working on consistently keeping the supporting heel turned outon relevé, coordinating the arms, head, and spot during the pirouette, and really making sure the working hip is not raised. There are so many elements of a ballet pirouette, and it takes years to dancers to master consistently. I am so proud of Luca and her growth throughout the summer! ✨🌪️💪🏼🤍

My Sleeping Beauty Ballerinas 🩰✨

What a remarkable year of growth it has been for these dancers at Fenton Dance Academy! They have developed tremendously—not only as individual artists, but also as a cohesive team. Each dancer brings her own unique personality to the studio, and together they create a beautiful dynamic that naturally shines on stage.

Throughout the season, I had the privilege of challenging them through both Cecchetti and ABT Levels 2 and 3, and they continually rose to the occasion. Their technical strength, artistry, work ethic, and confidence have all grown immensely, and their progress has been a joy to witness.

I am incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished this year and grateful to have been a part of their journey. I cannot wait to continue working with them during our summer classes and see where the next season takes them! 🤍

It is a very rare occasion that I find myself at a loss for words, but as I reflect on this past weekend, I am overwhelmed with love and appreciation which makes words feel inadequate.

From the moment I walked into @official_fsdandacademy last October, I could feel a overwhelming sense of calmness, honesty, and passion. It was like coming up for a breath of fresh air after the year I had previously. Every family was so welcoming, every teacher was always there to help, and every dancer worked hard in their classes and genuinely wanted to dance. It is extremely rare that you find something so precious in the dance world today.

I can honestly say that I have never met a more talented, driven, and well rounded group of dancers (and families). These kids work incredibly hard to achieve excellence in their dancing, and as one of their teachers, it is inspiring to witness. I can’t begin to express how proud I am of each and every one of them.

Having the opportunity to join the FDA family has been the biggest blessing that I never knew I needed. I am forever grateful for this studio, these families, these dancers, these relationships, and this incredible staff that I get to work with. Thank you for such a beautiful season. Words will never be enough. 🥂❤️😍🩰✨
