Everything’s ironic (yin & yang).

In the same year that I reached my milestones I also realised the hustle’s overrated.

Winter killed my plants so now I know to save seeds. It’s summertime in Aotearoa now and my garden’s abundant. There are birds, bees and worms.

This year I felt the most rushed, the desire to split myself up to fulfil even more (temporary) desires. My biggest desire now is to sit undisturbed with a book.

I look at my 妈妈 now with the same gaze she laid on me with when I could fit in her arms.

Looking backwards to move forward. The past is more interesting than the future to me.

Thank you to all the friends I’ve crossed paths with along the way, and strangers who listen to my music. I can’t believe the community I’ve found since creating and releasing the album. So vibrant and full of life.

道可道，非常道。
名可名，非常名。
无名天地之始；
有名万物之母。

Dreams do come true, and I can finally be relieved for now. Which is why I’m deleting this app for a while, signing off 2025 x
