Happy National Sons Day to Lucas! 💙 It’s hard to believe you are in your junior year at Doane University and going on your first chiropractor school visit this month.

We miss having him home, but I’m so thankful for our multiple daily phone calls. Hearing his voice every day means so much to me. I’m so proud of the young man he’s become and excited to see where life takes him next.

We spent the last week together as a family, starting in Miami and then heading out on the Wonder of the Seas for an amazing Royal Caribbean cruise. 🚢🌴☀️

Having all four of us together before both kids leave for school made this trip extra special. There were so many moments throughout the week when I found myself with tears in my eyes—tears of pure joy and gratitude for this time together.❤️

From Miami Beach, to CocoCay Island, to celebrating Madeline’s 18th birthday in Nassau, Bahamas, to a day of snorkeling and shopping, we made so many memories together. And our dinners were one of the highlights! Our amazing waiters, Nengah and Ismael, made every night so much fun. We truly looked forward to seeing them and will miss them!

Now we’re back home with full hearts, lots of pictures, and memories I’ll hold onto forever. 🥹❤️

Happy 18th Birthday, Madeline! 🎉❤️

This past year has been filled with so many incredible milestones—from graduating high school to getting ready to head off to college. It’s been amazing watching you grow into the beautiful young woman you are today—inside and out.

You are smart, passionate, kind, funny, and just the right amount of sarcastic. 😊 We are so proud of the person you’ve become and all that you’ve accomplished.

As you get ready to leave for college in just a few short weeks, we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you. We know you have an incredible future ahead, and we’re excited to watch you chase your dreams.

No matter where life takes you, always remember how deeply you are loved. Happy 18th birthday, Madeline. We love you more than words can ever express. ❤️🎂🎈

To my dad, Dennis, thank you for always being there to listen, offer advice, and share special moments with us—especially our time together with the puppies.

To my father-in-law, George, thank you for always stepping up to help whenever needed and for your unwavering support and encouragement.

And to my husband, Matt, thank you for learning from the very best and becoming such an incredible father and husband. Your love, dedication, and example mean the world to our family.

We love, appreciate, and celebrate all of you today and every day. Thank you for everything you do! ❤️ Happy Father’s Day! 💙

This post has been one of the hardest for me to write.

Madeline took her final bow as a senior dancer with Grace Studios. For nearly 15 years, dance has been such a huge part of her life. She grew up alongside the same girls, learned from the incredible teachers, Christy Sinkey, Hannah Larson & Brittney Kirkpatrick and became part of a community that truly felt like family.

The friendships, memories, lessons, and love she found at Grace Studios have shaped her into the young woman she is today. While we are so proud of all she has accomplished, saying goodbye to this chapter is much harder than we ever imagined.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and loved Madeline throughout her dance journey. To her family, friends, teachers, and dance family—thank you for being part of something so special.

We are going to miss watching her shine on stage, but we are forever grateful for the memories, friendships, and experiences that dance has given her.

One final bow. A lifetime of memories. ❤️
