Dreaming of frostier days❄️

Despite having an overall lackluster year for snow in the high Rockies , us locals will always find the best days to be out playing in our playground🏔️🏂

This was a one of the best days from this winter ski touring with friends in company with a few of our famed 14ers.

come to think of it… the video might be longer than winters presence this season. is that too harsh? can’t say I’d blame ya if you’re finding yourself ready for a change of pace with summer. I finally stopped trying to force the tour in search of cold snow a few weeks back. didn’t share much from my winter so here’s a long recap of some of my days out in the backcountry with friends. goofy, challenging, eager to explore new zones and everything in between

After a little over a year of running The Greenwood American Bistro, we have made the difficult decision to close our operations. It’s been an incredible experience to be part of the Greenwood community and leave our mark on the Seattle restaurant scene. We could not have done it without the support of our neighbors, regulars, newcomers, friends and family, and anyone who came through our doors. To our team, who worked tirelessly to make our restaurant a special place to work in, and their commitment to provide excellent service to all our guests: we couldn’t have asked for a better group of people, and we will be forever grateful. We’re proud of the work we accomplished, and we hope you all have fond memories of sharing pita and shmoo. We wish everyone a happy 2026, and we certainly hope to see you all again. With much gratitude, goodbye for now.
