Heartbreak Hotel at the Marriott Theatre

Such a great show! Loved seeing the evolution of Elvis come alive onstage, and this has inspired me to learn more about him.

I enjoyed seeing familiar faces among the talented cast, and picking up new artists to admire in this production too. Will definitely be coming back!

PS — I didn’t get a chance to reconnect with Colton & Trevor at the stage door, so I borrowed the photo with them from last year’s Rockabilly Eve concert 😁 Hope I can say hi to you guys next time!

PPS — Thankful I could meet up with Lucas and Jackson post-show, but I didn’t get pictures with you guys either! Borrowed Lucas’ photo from ‘Catch Me If You Can’ and Jackson’s from ‘Little Shop of Horrors.’

I swear I’m usually better at this 😅

Suffice to say, we rocked the jailhouse.

Opening for Heartbreak Hotel at @marriotttheatre was an absolute smash. I am so in awe of @dababadoo , @shannavdance , Ryan T. Nelson, @sargentonkeys, and the rest of this unbelievable creative team that I could burst.

The thing that makes this particular retelling of the story of Elvis resonate is the kid inside him that loves to create. As a fellow boy who loved to create and who sees the pursuit of great artistry as being synonymous with the pursuit of joy, it has been unbelievable serving alongside this team of kids at heart in creating our own little rock n roll jungle gym.

I promise you. This show is an electric blast. You are going to want to be there for it.

About this time yesterday (slightly after 5 PM) marks the end of Catch Me If You Can at the Marriott Theatre 🩵

Final post, I swear!

I’ve never seen a professional production as many times as this one, and it’s special for so many reasons - I’m going to miss having this to revisit, but I’ll always have the memories, pictures, & playbills 🫶🏼

Happy closing to everyone involved, can’t wait to see what you do next! 🎭

Xoxo
