They say you can't do New York in a day, so I'm thankin' the Big Fella upstairs we got five. Truly an epic time for an epic crew. Love you JJ, most excellent choice for a Bach.

WE FUCKING WON. 🏆 Blowing Up took home Best Screenplay – Short Film at the 2026 Treasure Coast International Film Festival. After nearly 11 years of making movies, I (AJ) got to bring this one home. Dad, your voice is still booming. ❤️🎈

Everyone… you know how grateful I am but thank you 🙏

We’re up for SIX nominations at TCIFAM, which is a completely normal sentence I am handling very normally. 🥹🎈

Seriously, thank you to TCIFAM and to every single person who helped make “Blowing Up” happen. Every performance, every department, every favor, every late night, every note, and everyone who said yes when this was still just a weird little absurdist blow up doll idea. I truly needed each and every one of you to bring this film to life. If I know one thing to be true, I know I need my friends to help me live. And this film we made was oxygen to me.

Getting to bring it to TCIFAM, back home, means more than I can properly explain. My dad once pulled me out of school early to take me to the Manatee Center, and it is still one of my favorite memories. He loved this place, the Treasure Coast. I love this place.

And the crew. In this context... We’re a pirate crew I guess! But, once again. Thank you for bringing this movie to life. Especially thank you for helping me bring it home. I CAN’T PROMISE WE’LL WIN NOTHIN’, but if we do, even one, it belongs to you all.

Thank you all. Always. ❤️

The Treasure Coast International Film Festival runs September 24–27 at Epic Theatres in Stuart, Florida.

🎬 Blowing Up screens Saturday, September 26 at 7 PM.🎈

The other week, I met up w/h @lucasriahi to talk about making future projects(which is on its way). In the midst of discussing those ideas, we decided to turn the link up itself into its own project. It’s great to plan things but it’s always a blessing to have friends who are down to get something going right in the moment. I hope you guys enjoy these shots as much as we enjoyed making them.

One year ago… I directed my first video, and then 5 in total with a 6th assisting in choreo for @hannahbroookee_ . I am so grateful for each person who came alongside this year✨🫡

So thankful for the hours in the studio with every dancer

So thankful for the DP’s who made my dreams become reality- @goodnickclark @jwflix

So thankful for the crew who came in and made the project 100x better than it would’ve been before

So thankful for the brands who entrusted us along the way

From carwashes, motorcycles, pool halls and rooftops- this has been one of my favorite 365 yet- thank you to the village who made the vision possible.

(If you’re still reading, lemme know which one you like the best🙃)

One year ago today, North Georgia turned into Neverland and we captured the adventure and magic of our story. Now that our film is complete, we hope that Wendy inspires you to keep your imagination alight! 🧚☀️🏴‍☠️
