Some recent clips from the summer so far…

Early part of the offseason is focused more on restoring range of motion in the joints that lose it over the course of a season.

Along with restoring ROM, building back up work capacity to be able to handle higher training volumes as the offseason progresses.

Change of direction work has been a bigger focus as well. Getting off the line fast is great, but if you can’t redirect that acceleration and change speeds quickly you’ll get left in the dust.

An easy way to get maximum intent on change of direction work is to add a ball/objective. Much like jumping to try and touch a spot on the ceiling/wall, having a goal to aim for will have you giving 100% effort 100% of the time.

Building better athletes isn’t just about how much weight they can put on the bar, it’s about making them better movers and preparing them for the demands they’ll see on the court, field, and ice.
