Train hard. Recover smarter.

At VHR our compression therapy uses gradient pressure to mimic the body’s natural muscle pump. It rhythmically inflates and deflates to move blood and lymph more efficiently through the limbs.

Here’s how it works on a physiological level:

• Increased circulation
External pressure compresses superficial veins, supporting blood flow back to the heart. This reduces venous pooling, improving the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to muscle tissue.

• Reduced muscle soreness and swelling
By enhancing circulation and fluid movement, compression helps clear metabolic by-products such as inflammatory mediators. It also reduces interstitial fluid build-up, which contributes to post-exercise swelling and discomfort.

• Promoted recovery
Improved blood flow supports faster tissue repair by delivering amino acids and oxygen needed for muscle regeneration. This can help shorten recovery time between training sessions and improve overall performance capacity.

• Lymphatic drainage
The lymphatic system relies on external forces to move fluid. Compression therapy stimulates lymphatic flow, helping to remove excess fluid, cellular waste, and toxins — supporting immune function and reducing heaviness in the limbs.

• Taking downtime
Beyond the physical, compression creates a structured opportunity to pause the nervous system. Activating the parasympathetic “rest and digest” state supports recovery at a deeper level — essential for both performance and long-term wellbeing.

Recovery isn’t passive - it’s physiological, intentional, and essential.

At VHR Clinic we offer clinical-grade hydrogen inhalation therapy used in hospitals in Japan and as supportive care for chronic illness and health optimisation.

Inhalation delivers ~100x the hydrogen concentration of hydrogen water, helping:
• Clear brain fog, boost mental clarity and gentle energy
• Selectively neutralise harmful free radicals while preserving beneficial cell signalling
• Improve mitochondrial efficiency, speed recovery and reduce chronic inflammation with repeated sessions
• Enhance endothelial function, lower oxidative stress and support both critical recovery and everyday performance, cellular training in action.

Safe, non-toxic and unique as a signalling antioxidant, Hydrogen inhalation is a clinical-grade tool for resilience and longevity.

Want to experience the difference? DM or call VHR Clinic to book your consultation and try a session, see why athletes, clinicians and wellness seekers are adding hydrogen inhalation to their recovery routine.
