It took us a while to put this together—maybe because part of us wasn’t ready to close this chapter just yet. But now, after being back in California for over a month, we can finally share a glimpse of the most incredible year of my life.

2024 will forever hold a special place in my heart. It was the year I stepped out of my comfort zone and embraced the unknown—and the rewards were more profound than I ever could have imagined. This experience gave me the gift of growth, adventure, and connection.

I found new depths in my relationship with my husband as we leaned on each other, learned from each other, and navigated a life so different from what we knew. I built friendships with incredible people who showed me what true kindness and generosity look like and who I know will be in my life forever. I stood in awe of landscapes that took my breath away and proved to myself that even thousands of miles away, my friendships back home were unshakable.

This adventure left me with a heart overflowing with gratitude. Everything aligned so perfectly for it to happen, and I don’t take a single moment of it for granted.

And to my family in California, as Carly Rae Jepsen once said: I’m coming back for you, baby! Being home has been amazing, but a part of me will always be looking south, missing the people and places that made this year so unforgettable.

Argentina, gracias por todo. California, I’m home.

Argentina, ya te extraño mucho… 🇦🇷💙

A few weeks ago, Drew and I returned to California after an unforgettable year living in Argentina. From hiking in Patagonia, camping overnight in the Atacama Desert, Buenos Aires nightlife, Sunday asados (the list goes on)… we had so many incredible adventures. The nature, the food, the wine, the parties — everything was amazing. But honestly, the best part of the year was connecting with new friends.

I’m so thankful to everyone who became a part of our life in Buenos Aires — those who hosted weekly asados, welcomed us into their homes, invited us to events, and especially our closest friends who even joined us in Rio for the New Year. Even though we’re back in California now, Buenos Aires will always feel like a second home, and I can’t wait to go back (a lot 🙂🙃💙).
