Hi everyone! We’re Nicole and Frank, and we’re the incredibly proud parents of Celine. 🎀
Eight months ago, our lives changed in ways we never could have imagined. Our beautiful daughter was born with a rare genetic condition called Fanconi anemia, along with limb differences and several complex medical challenges. What we thought would be the beginning of bringing our baby girl home turned into four long months at SickKids, watching her endure surgeries, procedures, and challenges no baby should ever have to face.
But through it all, Celine has shown us a strength, resilience, and joy that words could never fully capture. Today, she is finally home, growing, thriving, and reminding us every single day just how extraordinary she is. ❤️
We entered Celine into the Baby of the Year competition, and while there is a monetary prize associated with winning, what this opportunity represents to our family is worth so much more than money.
Celine will grow up in a world where she may look a little different, hear a little differently, and face challenges that many children will never have to experience. But we never want her to believe that those differences make her any less deserving of being seen, celebrated, loved, or given every opportunity to shine.
To us, winning would mean showing Celine that her differences do not define her limits. That her story deserves to be heard. And that an entire community stood behind her, cheering her on from the very beginning. 🥹

As many of you know, our sweet Bryson was born with a limb difference and had surgery when he was just 2 years old. Now, at only 6 years old, he has to undergo surgery again this Thursday. His journey won't end with Thursdays surgery. He will have to travel to Birmingham every week until around the middle of December. For follow up appointments and care. With all the traveling back and forth, the cost of gas and food is going to add up quickly. Im sharing this in hopes of getting a little help with these expenses so his family can focus on what matters most-being there for Bryson and helping him through this. If anyone would like to help with gas or a meal along the way any amount would mean so much. If you're unable to give, prayers and sharing this post are just as appreciated. Girls, it’s sweater weather! 🍂🧶

Everything takes time, and confidence is no exception. It took me YEARS to feel comfortable wearing a tank top, and now I don’t even think twice about it!

Over the past couple of winters, I’ve been playing around with the idea of showing my stump more with my outfits. And you know what? A. I actually think it looks cuter, and B. I love that it shows I’m proud of my arm and have no reason to hide it!

This video is a little peek into the very real thoughts of a one-armed girl staring in the mirror thinking… what the heck do I do with this extra sleeve?! 😂

I’m sharing a few fun things I’ve tried, along with some creative ideas I’ve seen other one-armed individuals come up with!

So let’s keep the conversation going, share ideas, have fun with fashion, and most importantly, be proud of the arms we have! 💪🏼💜

Stone was invited to fly out to Tucson to meet the University of Arizona Baseball Team. He was there to represent Shriner’s Children’s of Salt Lake. This trip was incredible for the boys. Coach Hale was so great with Stone and really made him feel welcome. The boys had the best time hanging with the players. They also got to spend some time in the dugout with them during the game. Stone gets to see the team again at the Shriners College Showdown in February! The Shriners Children’s College Showdown is an annual college baseball tournament held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, and hosted by the Texas Rangers/REV Entertainment. The six-team tournament is regarded as one of the top collegiate baseball tournaments in the nation, consistently drawing fans, top-ranked programs and scouts from every Major League Baseball organization – all while promoting the mission of Shriners Children’s. The pool of six teams playing across these three days includes Arizona, Clemson, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, and Virginia.

Mit 4 Jahren: Seepferdchen. 🐬
Mit 5 Jahren: Bronze. 🥉
Mit 7 Jahren: Silber.🥈

Und dann hat sie dem Bademeister erst mal gezeigt, wie man mit einer Hand schwimmt. 😂💦

Das schwimmen lernen war uns von Anfang an wichtig und ruht das wir so früh gestartet und dran geblieben sind. 💪🌊🏊🏻‍♀️
