This modern Asian restaurant is really fantastic for trying new flavours and fun dishes! They do an ALL IN deal where you can try a bit of everything for €28. We shared it between two and we’re stuffed! A must try for sure 😍 Another green flag is that they are on the too good to go app, to help overcome food waste, as well as using on tap drinks!

Last week we were kindly invited to The Lucky Tortoise (@lucky_tortoise ), a Dim Sum restaurant on Aungier Street to try out their vegan offerings 🐢

They do an "all in" option whereby you get to sample several dishes from the menu and there is of course, a vegan version of the "all in"! We got this for 2 which is most of the spread you see above in the first pic minus the miso which we had finished hehe. It is absolutely enough for 2 people - we were nicely full afterwards 😌

The full list was as follows:-
💚 Vegan Kimchi
💚 Miso Soup
💚 Edamame
💚 Pandan Jasmine Rice
💚 Sesame Cucumber Salad
💚 Vegan Okonomiyaki
💚 Scallion Pancakes
💚 Vegan Bao
💚 Vegan Dumplings (mushroom and sweet potato)

The staff are super lovely and tell you what each dish is as they bring it out. The highlights for us were the scallion pancakes for me and the bao for Paul but the winner by far and away was the vegan Okonomiyaki - a Japanese savoury pancake seen in picture 2. We decided we could happily eat just 10 plates of this alone.

Every single dish was super flavourful and it was great to try somewhere a bit different! When it comes to non-vegan restaurants the big thing for us is "Are the vegan options on par with the non-vegan options, rather than being a hurried afterthought?". LT well and truly ticks that box ✅ what's more, the vegan "all in" is actually a few euro less than the veggie and meat one which is a rarity and great to see 👍

This is a very glowing review but deserved - really urge you to check it out if you're in Dublin, you won't regret it. Do book though because they're popular! 💚
