Alongside creating ‘Forged in Water’ we delivered a creative projection masterclass @uniportccixr that lead into a mentorship programme where music and animation students collaborated on their very own water-screen artwork.

‘Sunken Kingdom’ was displayed alongside ‘Forged in Water’ at We Shine throughout the weekend.

We were totally blown away by the animation and music!

Thanks to @portsmouthcreates for making it all possible.

Special thanks to @luckydarren @thomasadambuckley @pauldweston for giving extra support to the students.

✨OPENING NIGHT - We Shine Portsmouth Art & Light Festival 2021 @portsmouthcreates ✨

We had an incredible time exploring Zone 1 last night - wandering through a glowing Victoria Park after dark and experiencing the rainbow was a definite highlight 🌈

🙌 Big thanks to @luckydarren for asking us to take part, and organising a brilliant collection of animations from the local community & inspiring organisations with @inmotionportsmouth - Seeing my work scaled up on a 200ft building was amazing!

🌟Make sure you visit over the next two nights (5-9pm)

Pamodzi means together. We celebrate inspirational stories and collaborate with creatives to challenge, affirm and inspire. As part of our schools engagement programme, we have been working for Portsmouth Creates on the WeShine Light Festival ; a free light festival taking place across the city 18-21 November. Students from Medina Primary School in Cosham created giant murals celebrating the city. This project was delivered in collaboration with Pompey Banana Club & Darren Page. For more information about the #Weshine festival go to https://www.weshineportsmouth.co.uk/

Thank God for the internet, becuase we really wouldn't be able to discover so many gifted artists without it. We were a little too excited scrolling through artist @luckydarren page. Keep art alive, and let it heal the soul.
