So I was in Portland last weekend, and after having a bunch of @pedalpaloozapdx rides cancelled due to the thunderstorms, I decided to go do some riding of my own the next day. I made more or less a circuit of the Eastside, stopping by sidewalk joy spots all along the way and dropping off something appropriate for each. Too much joy stuff to fit in one reel, so here's part 1.

In this bit of things as I circled through Ladd's Addition and around to Foster Powell, we have visits to...
@vinkos.art.o.rama
The Brooklyn Seesaw
@minimuseumofportland
@poetrypotterypdx
Walls from @nobonzo and @ghirschart
@georgina.ottaviano with free dahlias, and @8samtastic8 art in front
@mt_tabor_creations
@bigred_vinylibrary
@luckydoglibrary
Bonus shanaleehampton art at Lucky Dog
A stray wishing shrine on Woodward
@rhonestreetretreat
@comicscottagepdx
@pdxflag

.... Deep breath.....

And then I continued on...

LITTLE FREE LIBRARY (LFL) FRIDAY
We took a break from our LFL posts the last couple of weeks due to our Paris Series. We are back and sharing this amazing stick library for dogs in Portland! @luckydoglibrary has provided a place for dogs to grab a stick while their own grabs a book and enjoys a dog-themed poem, joke, or quote that they display. Signage explained that the library is a tribute to a rescue dog named Lucky. 💛

Have you stumbled upon a stick library? I was “lucky” enough to stop by this one when a dog was checking things out and dropping off a big stick. 😁 This LFL made my day!

Have a fabulous weekend. What are you reading? I’m finally reading None of This is True by Lisa Jewell.

Thanks for reading,
-Sara

Mrs. Crandall's youngest daughter, Cora @milesmama, has lived in Portland, Oregon, for the past 15 years. In the summer of 2025, she will be making her grand trek from Southern California (after 40+ years! 😱) to the great PNW to live a mere 4 blocks away from her Portland family. In the meantime, Mrs. Crandall visits often, scouting out her favorite restaurants, retail, and, of course, the unusual! 🍃 Enjoy her guide of small businesses and beautiful sceneries. 🌸

Mrs. Crandall's favorites: @sellwoodmoreland, @pdxdinorama, @pdxflag, @comicscottagepdx, @georgina.ottaviano, @luckydoglibrary, @travelportland ✨️
