Next up from Saturday at Greetings from Carnivalism: Simon Arnoldi.

Founder of @far_call_records , organiser of pop-up record stores and festivals, and creator of open-decks night @vinylgathering , @si_arnoldi knows his way around a record bag.

His Saturday afternoon set dug deep into soulful house and jazz, joining the dots between Frankie Knuckles, Masters At Work and Danny Krivit with Ron Trent, Lars Bartkuhn, Florence Adooni, Alma Negra and plenty more.

Deep, warm and unhurried. Exactly what the garden needed as Saturday started gathering pace.

Recorded live at @theshoesboa , Bradford on Avon, as part of our three-day Greetings from Carnivalism takeover. Supported by @theduppyshare

🎧 Full live mix + tracklist now up on Carnivalism.

From Saturday’s Greetings from Carnivalism takeover, here’s Miss Funky SX.
Lindsey D picked up the pace as the garden filled up, moving things into funky, soulful and vocal house with Soul Reductions, Hardsoul, DJ Spen, Art Of Tones, Grant Nelson, Gat Decor and more.

A massive music geek who spent years DJ bothering before finally deciding to have a go herself. Turns out she’d been ready for decades.
Two years behind the decks officially. 28 years in her head.

I don’t want to sound like Vito Corleone but…once you’re part of the Carnivalism familia, you’re in. ❤️

DJ Don, aka Brennie, has become a proper part of the Carnivalism crew, helping bring our events to life, from hanging mirror balls, setting up the lasers, and running the lights and smoke machines, he’s been one of the team behind the atmosphere that transformed our dancefloor at the shoes for a while now.

And this summer he stepped behind the decks at Greetings from Carnivalism on the Saturday and brought us a cracking mix - you’ll want to listen to this 🎧 His full set is now on our website to take a listen back. Link in bio.

Cheers Brennie. Here’s to many more.
