You know an event is going to be different when you walk in and realize you have absolutely no idea what you’re about to see.

That was Ecolution Fashion Gala 2026.♻️

Held at The Pennsylvanian in Pittsburgh, this year’s gala brought together sustainable fashion, art, performance, food, cocktails and some seriously creative people for one unforgettable night.

The runway featured more than 20 designers who took recycled and repurposed materials and turned them into completely unexpected pieces of wearable art. Every look felt like its own little story, and seeing the details up close from the end of the runway made it even better.

But it wasn’t just about the runway.

There were live performers, artists, interactive experiences, music, food and cocktails throughout the evening, making the entire space feel like one giant creative production instead of simply a fashion show.

And I have to give a huge shoutout to Acrobatique Creative for bringing it all together. The amount of creativity and work that goes into something like this is easy to miss when you’re sitting back and enjoying it, but you could feel it in every part of the night.

And then there was my own little surreal moment…

When I got invited, I never expected to be sitting FRONT ROW at the literal end of the runway.

Then I looked down and saw two chairs-one with “Jess Nardelli” and the other with “Jess Nardelli’s Guest.”

And seeing my name there really did something to my heart.

Just a quick how the hell did I get here? moment.

I’m incredibly thankful to have been included in something so creative and meaningful, and even more thankful to call the people behind it my friends.🖤

Ecolution was a reminder that fashion doesn’t have to be disposable, predictable or just about what looks good on a hanger.

Sometimes the most interesting things are made from the things everyone else overlooked.

And that’s exactly what made this night so cool.
