Second pompano for the year🔥was a big school of them like 8 in similar size, very difficult fish to shoot they caught me by surprise so I did a little duck dive. The school spooked and split so I had to take a long shot and managed to hit it… I didn’t know how the shot placement was so I let it run and got closer and saw my shaft was just hanging on by the skin of it’s teeth😳😂

Super stoked though it never ended up as the one that got away🔥🙌🏻

The entire Lepront family have registered as athletes on the Wavepool Surf Tour website. All three of them - being Leah, Louise and Luc - are highly accomplished surfers from Scottburgh on the south coast of Durban.
Entries for the first event on the Wavepool Surf Tour calendar - the Alaia Surf Challenge - remain open until 25 October.
