🇬🇧 | 🍂🏔️ Summer is slowly packing its bags – and Lake Forggensee is already trying on its autumn colours.

It’s that beautiful moment between seasons: lush green meets the first touches of gold, the morning is calm, and the low sun turns the surrounding mountains into the main act. 😍

Lake Forggensee in the Allgäu sits against the impressive backdrop of the Ammergau Alps and is one of Bavaria’s largest lakes. Early autumn brings a special atmosphere here: quieter shores, crisp morning air and reflections that almost make the mountains and water become one.

🍁 If this is how autumn begins, we’re definitely ready for it.

⛰️🌅 Wenn da Forggensee am Morgen no ned ganz wach is – aber trotzdem scho verdammt guad ausschaut. 😍

🇬🇧 | ⛰️🌅 When Lake Forggensee isn’t quite awake yet – but already looks ridiculously good. 😍

Sunrise on the western shore: perfectly calm water, the Allgäu Alps on the horizon and a sailboat seemingly waiting for the perfect moment to head out. ⛵️⛰️

Bavaria can be this peaceful. And yes – for mornings like this, we’d even get up early voluntarily. 😉☀️

Der Forggensee spiegelt die Allgäuer Bergwelt – und im Hintergrund thront Schloss Neuschwanstein. Mehr Bayern geht kaum. 💙

🇬🇧 | POV: You find the moment where lake and castle come together perfectly. 🏔️✨

Lake Forggensee reflects the stunning Alpine scenery, while Neuschwanstein Castle rises in the background. It doesn’t get much more Bavarian than this. 💙
