Three cabin concepts. Which one would you choose—and why? 🌲🏡

1️⃣ A-Frame — a cozy getaway with that classic cabin shape.
2️⃣ Barn Cabin with Loft — rustic charm with a bedroom tucked upstairs.
3️⃣ Modern Rustic Cabin — big windows, a separate bedroom, and a covered deck.

Is it the layout, the look, or that perfect spot for your morning coffee?

Now with the flexible roller stand, this will make things much easier with longer materials on the outfeed

Meet the team pt.1 👋 🌲

Hey, I’m Luc, one of the co-owners Timber and Trail!

My journey in construction and woodworking began at 16, when I started a log home building apprenticeship course. At 18, I worked as a landscaper for a couple of years, gaining valuable hands-on experience and developing a strong appreciation for working outdoors.

After landscaping, I began and completed my apprenticeship as a Red Seal Carpenter. I’ve now been working in the carpentry/construction industry for 15 years, specializing in interior and exterior woodwork and general carpentry, both in residential and commercial spaces.

Throughout my career, I’ve also had the opportunity to run my own business, @lucsavignacconstruction , where I focused on delivering quality craftsmanship and creating practical, well-built spaces with character.

Outside of work, I’m a proud father of two beautiful daughters and a grateful husband to my amazing wife. My family is a huge part of who I am and inspires me every day to build a life centered around hard work, quality and meaningful experiences.

We started this company with a shared goal: to create thoughtfully designed cabins that make it easier for people to slow down, get outdoors and enjoy what matters most.

I’m excited to introduce myself and the rest of my team and share more of the work, ideas and craftsmanship happening behind the scenes!

Every cabin starts right here. 🌲🔨

There’s something pretty satisfying about watching an A-frame take shape — one rafter, one cut, and one detail at a time.

This build is a great example of what Timber and Trail is all about: taking a simple idea and turning it into something unique, functional, and built to last.

From the first piece of lumber to the finished cabin, we take pride in the process just as much as the final result.

Built by hand. Built with purpose. Built for the outdoors.

More cabin builds are coming. Stay tuned. 👀

There’s something special about an A-frame in the mountains. 🌲🏔️

Simple lines, warm wood tones, and a whole lot of character. This little cabin is exactly the kind of build that inspired Timber and Trail — creating unique spaces that feel at home in the outdoors.

From small A-frame cabins and bunkies to custom woodworking and one-of-a-kind builds, we’re excited about what’s ahead.

Built small. Built well. Built for wherever the trail takes you.

Stay tuned — we’ve got some exciting projects coming.
