Big dad brag here … I couldn’t be more proud and tickled about Lucy’s success. She just graduated magna cum laude from the University of Lynchburg, helped the equestrian team win three national titles, and this year was a first-team All-American and an Academic All-American. Yay, Lucy! But more than that, she’s a kind, ambitious, and joyful individual who works hard and cares about others. It is an absolute joy and honor to be your father, Lucy. I can’t wait for what’s next! Let’s GOOO! ♥️

Saying goodbye to something that has been a part of me for four years doesn’t feel real and honestly, it never will be a true goodbye. Lynchburg Equestrian has shaped me into the person I am today, and for that, I’ll always be grateful. From the early mornings at the barn to the biggest moments in the ring, this program has given me more than I ever could’ve imagined. I’m endlessly thankful for the coaches who believed in me, challenged me, and gave me every opportunity to grow both as a rider and a person. And to the horses, every one of you has taught me something different. I’m so grateful for the lessons you gave without ever saying a word. To my girls, I leave behind continue to carry the legacy. I believe in you, I’m proud of you, and I know you’re going to get it done. Ride hard, lead with love, and remember that what we’ve built here is special. This chapter in my life may be closing but it will always be my favorite one to tell. ❤︎

With two championships ahead of our team, it’s so easy to focus on the results. Most looking forward to enjoying the ride and the time spent with each other..….but also LFG.
