Breast Implants... my thoughts and experiences. So I’ve been thinking about this for such a long time. My intention for this post is to help anyone thinking about getting breast implants. When I was 27 I had a boob job solely to have more perkier, fuller boobs, just like the other dancers in my industry. It something that everyone was doing and I absolutely jumped on the bandwagon with not much consideration or thought. I actually had quite big boobs naturally but at the time it was super fashionable to have a “fake” and “full” look. It turned out I had agreed to much too large implants for my body. They were huge. I felt like a joke. Having no money to get them sorted out I went on a TV show with @katiepiper_ called Bodyshockers and the TV show paid for them to be made smaller with an uplift, nipple lift and new implants, I was happy with the size and lived with them for years. Aged 35 I give birth to MINNIE and was dead set on breastfeeding. For the first 4 weeks I struggled and was sometimes feeling her for 4-6hrs at a time. I then started to feel very ill, very quickly and with a new born baby at home I was rushed into hospital to acute mastitis. Unfortunately from my previous breast surgeries lots of my milk glands had been severed so they were producing milk but it wasn’t coming out, that’s why it was taking MINNIE so long to feed and why I had become so ill. I spent 5 days in hospital and wasn’t really getting much better. They then said that my implant had ruptured. I was rushed into surgery and had both implants removed. It turned out that it wasn’t ruptured but they decided the only way I could heal is if they were taken out. In this operation they shared with us that they had found black cells that looks like Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma. They said we had to wait 3 weeks to get tests results back. As you can imagine, this was one of the worst times of my life and also the best. Minnie was 5 weeks old. It didn’t help that in those 3 weeks i became even more unwell and one of my breasts actually burst open with the biggest abscess you have eve seen. I had actual puss pouring down my body....continued in comments...
