Happy Valentine’s Day 2025!
Zumba with Amber 💃
What better a way to party?

On Thursday, February 13, I visited the exuberant, skillful, and beautiful Amber @fitnesswithamber 💐

She graciously invited me to join her on stage to lead a song with her. Those who know me best are well aware that I truly enjoy visiting other #ZumbaInstructors - some may even know my favorite of all time! Now folks will know something altogether different about me.

I met Amber, as I’ve met most of you, along my journey. From my perspective, she appeared out of nowhere at a @movetoempowerorg event in August 2022.

She shocked me when she invited me to join her in front of the participants to lead a song! We all danced under a pavilion at the edge of the beach with the ocean behind us in Rye, NY.

Unforgettable for me as I remember feeling relieved that I knew the song very well (though with different choreography). I felt confident that I’d be able to follow very well as I had been doing Zumba for a decade. Turns out that combined with her expertise in leading as a skilled and experienced instructor, I was also automatically comfortable dancing with her!

Fast Forward 2.5 years and I must say that sharing the stage with her is the best!
