This is my final photo dump for Ragtime. This show meant so much more to me than I thought it would, more than anyone could realize. For three months I got to be Robby. Not Robbie, not Rob, not Bobbie- Robby with a Y. It was such a freeing feeling to be seen by so many people for who I am. It was so freeing to have a second life and a second family up in Cleveland. It was so freeing to be Robby, and not a Miss Conception. Goodbye Ragtime, I’ll miss you 🤍❤️💙 #photodump #ragtime #digitalcamera

A curtain can close, but some moments never truly leave you. This experience was so much more than a show. It was the late nights, the laughter, the challenges, the growth, and the incredible people who made every second worth it. I came into this journey ready to tell a story, but I walked away with memories, friendships, and a family that I’ll carry with me forever. I cannot say enough how thankful I am for Near West Theatre, our director, the creative team, crew, musicians, and every person behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to bring this story to life. The passion, dedication, and love poured into this production created one of the best shows I have ever been a part of. To everyone who shared this stage and this journey with me, thank you for reminding me why I love performing and why stories like this matter. And now I find myself asking, “What if I got one more chance to grace the stage with all of you?” Because I would take that chance in a heartbeat. The wheels may have stopped turning, but the memories, the voices, and the stories we shared will continue to echo long after the final note. ❤️

He wanted to say: I am so honored and fortunate that I have had the pleasure of working with Near West Theatre on a truly special and transformative production of Ragtime.

He wanted to say: Getting to do so much theatre this summer has gotten me out of the worst place I have ever been at the beginning of the summer to the happiest I have ever been at the end.

He wanted to say: Due to the fulfillment I have gotten from both everyone involved in this production as well as the impeccable work we all have done at impacting every audience that has had the privilege of witnessing this story that we have put so much into having the privilege of telling, I genuinely feel ready for anything.

He wanted to say: Younger Brother is my favorite character I have played in my favorite show that I have been a part of to date. This was the perfect show to end the summer off with and I can’t wait to continue my theatre journey so content that this is the show I did at this point in my life.

He wanted to say: Much like America, this show both in script and in the talented young performers that have donated their time and effort to ragtime, is a melting pot full of so many backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. The American dream is all of those aspects coexisting peacefully and until that happens: Ragtime will always be relevant.

But all he said was: I know how to blow things up ☺️ (NOT REALLY PLEASE DON’T BAN ME INSTAGRAM)

God, how do I even begin? Performing ragtime this summer with all these amazing people, it’s been life changing to start. I have never been so amazed, so enlightened, and so loved by this many people, and I am so grateful I got to experience it. Not only did playing Willie Konklin(get it with a k) help my acting and mentality grow this show, but it also helped me realize how people love me for who I am, not just my abilities. I love this show so much, and I am so sad that I am done with it. But I know that these people will be with me for life, and I love them so much. With that, I want everyone involved to know, that “I’ll hear you all, forevermore”
