Work can often feel like a run of bad luck.
Like no matter what you do, it just keeps coming.
Heavy days. Stressful days. “What did I do to deserve this?” days.

And when we can’t regulate our stress, everything feels harder.

We snap quicker. We shut down faster.
We carry it home with us.

That’s why, at Impact Training, we focus on helping people understand their stress, build self-awareness, and regulate their emotions more effectively.

Because when people know what they need, they can communicate it more freely.

When they understand their stress responses, they cope better at work.

And when they cope better at work, they’re less likely to carry it all home.

Stress doesn’t just affect performance.
It affects confidence, communication, and wellbeing.

And the good news?
It can be understood.
It can be managed.
It can get better.

When did being stressed become so… normal?

Waking up tired.
Running on caffeine.
Feeling guilty for sitting down.
Forgetting why you walked into a room.
Being exhausted all day, then suddenly wide awake when your head hits the pillow.
Saying “I’m fine, just busy” on repeat.

We’ve normalised a lot of things that can actually be signs we’re spending too much time in stress mode.

And the problem is, when stress becomes your everyday state, you stop noticing it.

That’s why stress management shouldn’t just be something we think about when someone is already burnt out.

At IMPACT, we teach people to spot the signs earlier, understand what’s actually happening in their body, and use simple, practical tools to help regulate stress in real life.

Not “just relax.”
Not “take a bubble bath.”
Not another wellbeing talk everyone forgets by Monday.

Actual tools. Practised in the room. Designed to be used when you need them.

So… how many did you tick? 👀

Save this as your reminder that “I’m just busy” and “I’m stressed” aren’t always as different as we think.

You don't need a week off work to reduce stress.

Sometimes you need 60 seconds.

Try this:

✓ Unclench your jaw
✓ Drop your shoulders
✓ Take one slow breath in
✓ Exhale longer than you inhaled
✓ Look away from your screen and focus on something in the distance

Will it solve everything?

No.

But small moments of recovery throughout the day can help interrupt the stress cycle before it builds into overwhelm.

Stress management isn't always about doing more.

Sometimes it's about giving your nervous system permission to do less.

Which one of these do you need to remind yourself to do today? 👇

MINDFULNESS BINGO

If you’ve been wanting to feel better day to day, but don’t have the energy for a full life overhaul… this is for you

I created this wellness bingo card to make looking after yourself feel simple again.

It focuses on small, doable habits that can genuinely help lower stress, boost your energy, and bring a bit more balance back into your days.

Instead of chasing perfection, it gives you a clear, visual way to stay consistent with the basics… move your body, get some fresh air, rest properly, drink some water, tick off a few wins.

No pressure to do it all. No guilt if you don’t.

Just a gentle way to feel a bit more like yourself again.

Save it, try it this week, and let me know if you get a bingo 🤍✨
