This week’s instalment of the Project of the Week series features an earthy family home design by 2025 SBID Awards Finalist, @lucygoldbart

Lucy Goldbart Interior Design carried out a full renovation and extension for Project Ten. This included updating the homes layout, specifying the interior architecture, furniture and soft furnishings. Lucy Goldbart’s goal was to transform a previously lifeless and tired space into warm and striking home, with a nod to the earthy tones and retro shapes on the 1970s.

Designing for Daily Life.

Most designers ask what you want your home to look like. Lucy Goldbart asks how you want to feel when you wake up.

It sounds like a small distinction. It isn't. When the answer is "ten minutes of peace before the house starts," a well-designed bedroom suddenly needs a coffee station. The sofa choice follows from that. So does the layout, the light, the flow of the entire floor.

An open, calm and considered space.✨

Floating walnut shelves and waterfall style stonework create structure and flow, anchored by a statement marble table and softened with sheer drapery.

Excited to share a beautiful project from designer @lucygoldbart that I shot earlier this year.

‘We embraced the clients’ trust to be playful with design, layering cozy textures, cloudy limewashed walls, and moody brass lighting to create a home that feels both inviting and full of personality.‘ - @lucygoldbart

Thanks to @ezra.evans_ for assisting on this one and thanks to @keeartists for the support as always.
