Reality of running a business with a one year old… take 27 🎬

Harry is not convinced by the content life, but we got there in the end 😅

Hope you’ve all had a great summer. We’ve had such a strong start to the term and are now supporting over 160 students each week, which is pretty special.

We’ve still got a few spaces available, so referrals are always welcome (free session for you if you’re a current member👀), or get in touch to book a free assessment. The numbers don’t lie and we have seen some incredible progress already this year. We are striving for confidence in all learners and excellence for those who can and want to achieve. I’d love to hear from you: queenstown@kip@mcgrath.co.nz 03 441 4615

Why exercise is healthy during pregnancy (and beyond)..

And no, I’m not talking about “bouncing back” or shrinking your body.

I’m talking about the moments where a mum gets to just be herself.

🤍 30-45 minutes where she’s not “needed” by anyone else
🤍 A chance to reconnect with her body, rather than feeling like it’s only there to grow or feed a baby
🤍 An outlet for anxiety, stress, overwhelm, all the things no one quite prepares you for
🤍 A boost of confidence in a time when everything can feel unfamiliar
🤍 Time to move, breathe, and feel strong again (even when everything else feels chaotic)
🤍 A moment in the day that is hers - not for the baby, not for the house, just for her
🤍 A safe space to be supported, seen, and reminded that she matters too

Exercise in pregnancy and postpartum isn’t about how you look.

It’s about how you feel.

And how you cope.

And how you show up for yourself while you’re showing up for everyone else.

If you’re a new mum or mama to be, you deserve that time. Your wellbeing matters just as much as your baby’s 💛

Pre natal training session at 25 weeks pregnant 🤰

Todays focus was on hip mobility to prepare Lucy for birth and full body strength with an emphasis on posterior chain for posture and support. Finishing off with some stretching and mobility to release any tension.

Lucy you are one strong Mama 💪🏼

PRE NATAL PT SESH 🤰🏻

We always start off our sessions with connection breathing to engage the deep core and pelvic floor, followed by mobility warm-ups. ✨

Then, todays strength sessions focussed on:
Core Stability & Mobility: Pallof press to core rotation
Posterior Chain: Lat pull-downs
Hip Mobility: Split squats with hip internal rotation
Glute Strength: Banded hip thrusts for pelvic stability and less back strain.

Staying active through pregnancy has so many benefits both physically and mentally - if you’re unsure how to exercise in pregnancy feel free to send me a message - I would love to help!

#prenatalfitness #pregnancyexercise #postpartumfitness #onlinecoach #prepostnatalexercise

50 five-star reviews! I’m beyond grateful for every couple, family, and friend who’s trusted me to capture their stories. Each review is a reminder of the special moments we’ve created together—and knowing that they mean as much to you as they do to me is everything.

Thank you all for being a part of this journey, for the kind words, and for letting me do what I love in a place that I love. Here’s to the next 50!

If we’ve worked together, drop a memory from your session in the comments—I’d love to hear from you 🥂
