In a deliberate break from my usual 'excited Friday' theme*, here is a lovely calm and quiet image of Katie, mid-preparation for her Priston Mill wedding last year. As I have said (many times - sorry!) before, I absolutely love the whole getting ready period for each wedding. That wonderful slow build up to all the celebrations. It's a time for me to get to know who is who, ease myself into the day and capture all the excitement building up, the special people that you share this time with, and, overall, this incredible sense of anticipation as it grows. ⁣
*not an actual thing. ⁣

So today is a very bittersweet day. It was my last day with MAC after almost 4 years.
I have been so lucky to work for the most amazing company, doing the most amazing job, alongside the most amazing people.
It really has been a dream job and that’s all down to my girls.
This past year has been so difficult but you made it easier for me, you kept me smiling.
I cannot thank you enough for that and for everything else you guys are to me. I love you from the bottom of my heart.
Goodbye MAC 🖤
