Best year ever? Well yes.
It is impossible to sum up a year that genuinely changed the entire trajectory of my life in 20 slides and so few words.
Right out the gates it was already incredible. Starting with NLNA in Corpus. This really kickstarted my belief in my craft. Thank you Nico for encouraging me and bringing me along with y’all when I hardly had any business being there.
The rest of the year follows as such:
So many best friends’ shows, changed my hair a lot, discovered my new favorite singer ever (thanks Amir), met so very many incredible people and reconnected with others, partied too hard at Aaron’s 21st, Nico’s birthday show at Antone’s, went in so many venue green rooms, lots and lots of concerts, went to Corpus with NLNA again (never roadtrip in an electric vehicle), had the best birthday blues jam a girl could ask for, made the best vlog ever @iheardthissonglive

The rest of this year was absolutely perfect. I met the wonderful Chloe Fairist in line for Mirador. I had planned to get to that show WAY earlier, but I got there exactly when I needed to be sat right next to you.
And then October….oh October my beloved.
ACL. ACL. ACL.
Thank you @walnuthan for playing a massive part in the greatest part of my year/possibly life. I saw so many artists I didn’t think I would get the chance to….and of course…..mk.gee(twice). Mk.gee was the soundtrack of my entire year and it’s so insane I was able to tell him that. For months coincidences would happen and I would say “oh that means I’m gonna meet mk.gee” mostly as a joke but I do believe in manifestation (especially now) and I guess it worked?? I met my favorite singer and I was in fact “real happy huh”.
Also in October, I photographed Arlie’s Austin show. After that show, he invited me to his album release show in LA as well. So jump to December, Chloe and I have the time of our LIVES in LA. Not so scary airplanes, mountains, el pollo loco, in n out, bagels and coffee, Reau, Darren, and Emily, and an amazing show from Arlie.
Thank you to everyone that was part of this year. I love you all so much and I intend to make next year and every year after that just as good as this one. I love my life.
