BIG NEWS!!! : Marci and I are officially moving to New Orleans in a month. Very excited for this next chapter in life and looking forward to buying a house that I can build a studio in. It is very bittersweet, we have family and friends up here that we will miss a ton, however we have friends and family in Louisiana we have also missed these past 7 years. We will be back in the city quite often to visit family and I will still be operating a good amount of business out of the NYC. There’s so many things I can say about our time in here, I have dreamt about living in the city since I was a little kid. There’s that old saying, if you can make it here you can make it anywhere, so I am excited to see where my career takes me on the next few years, because we sure did the damn thing here!! I played my first show ever in NY, I threw my first event in NY, I got engaged to the love of my life in NY, we’ve had heartbreaks and we’ve had triumphs. Marci and I have grown so much here and to everyone that made this place our home - thank you, we will always have a place for you to come visit in New Orleans. Here’s a few pictures and videos from shows in NY over the years. Also peep the new logo 👀👀 cheers to the future!!

On this day 7 years ago, Matt and I moved to New York. No jobs. No connections. No plan. We just knew we wanted to be here. I got a job at an ad agency and worked on some huge brands like Square, Adobe, and Hero Cosmetics. Matt grew his Zip Visuals brand. I will forever love this place. NYC gave us so many opportunities, amazing friends, and some wild times. But with that we look to the future and happy to announce… WE ARE MOVING TO NEW ORLEANS!!! We say goodbye to New York at the end of June. It’s incredibly bittersweet. NY will always be apart of me but I’ll be back in some way one day. So excited to be returning home after 10 years away. See you soon New Orleans ⚜️

It wouldn’t be a Shawn post if I wasn’t a little late. 2025 was minimal in terms of shows I got to shoot, but the ones I did were truly magical. I can’t express how meaningful it is that so many friends (and new acquaintances) have entrusted me with capturing their art. I have big goals for 2026, in terms of my photography and live music coverage. So I’m thankful for all the support I continue to receive. Here’s to many more moments of bliss.

Catch me dancing at @somewherenowherenyc in Manhattan with @dancesoulco tomorrow NYE!!!✨ This year has been an intense year of the deepest valleys and highest peaks 🏔️ It’s been a big year for me but a year of a lot of grief and hardship. I tried things I’ve never tried before, I faced shadows I never wanted to face, drove thousands of miles across the country, lost family members, lost friends, I fell on my face, I was massively victorious. Did a campaign with Uber x Delta, auditioned for Miss Universe Latina, joined SAG AFTRA, worked with amazing performance collectives, tons of fire dancing🔥, wore lots of micro skirts, went back to school, and of course… had the best times of my life watching Tipper and all his friends with my best friends for the last time❓😭❤️ I’m so grateful for my friends who have been there for me through thick and thin. I’m just happy to be here to cherish every moment we get to spend together 🌸 Cheers to 2026 🥂
