Tomorrow 9/6 is the day my album comes out on all platforms, this album was started over a year ago with no intentions of ever being released. I have used song writing and singing as a coping mechanism my whole life and half of the songs on this album were recorded at very difficult times in my life and I almost always was crying before recording 😅😅. Over the course of recording this album with my insanely talented band mate JJ(who composed the entire album as well as sang like what a goat!) , I slowly watched myself become a better musician and realized music was the only thing I really cared about. I have been making music for over a decade now but have never been able to express myself in the way that I got to in this album. My only wish for releasing this music is that maybe someone going through similar things I was going through can find solace and understanding in these songs. I love listening to my music and feeling like someone truly understands me (even if it is me!) and I hope someone else struggling can also feel this way. Anyways, thank you very much if you decide to listen, fingers crossed that you enjoy ❤️

we had the best time on Saturday playing some of our songs live for the first time! feeling a lot of appreciation for the amazing turnout and the warm reception. thank you for listening to our EP, watching the Futureland video, and coming out to see us play. we're working on some new recordings and booking future shows for the spring and summer -- if you want us to play somewhere, please hit us up!

I’m Matthew McDaniel (co-founder of Cooperative), and I have been developing a new music project for the last several months called Sleeper Sofa. We have our first EP coming out on Friday 3/13 as well as a pretty wild music video and want to celebrate with you all! The shop seems like the perfect venue to launch this new music!! We’re going to play at 7pm on Saturday 3/14 inside the cafe. Everyone is welcome, all ages, and feel free to BYOB since we’re rolling with this as a private party.
