Today we had to say goodbye to our Christopher. 🐾

Almost 10 years ago, a close friend of mine @seafar21, a sailor who couldn’t keep him anymore — asked if @luiza_bss_ and I could give him a home. We said yes, and he became family from day one.

Christopher grew up alongside our daughter Alice, the two of them practically the same age. He made the move with us from Halifax, NS to Montreal, QC, settling into every new chapter like it was nothing. He was there when our second daughter Melissa came into the world — she’s 5 now. And a few years later, we welcomed two kittens into the house for him, Mochi and Sushi, now 3 years old themselves.

He lived a full life surrounded by love, and he gave us so much of it back.

We’re going to miss him more than words can say. 💔

Supporting each other is the secret sauce to staying consistent with our fitness goals. Having a partner who understands the gym grind and the importance of fueling our bodies makes our daily routine so much easier.

But let’s be real—we’re not just into the gym life; we’re parents with incredibly busy professional lives. Finding time to focus on ourselves is often a challenge, but we make it happen because we know it’s essential.

Our life isn’t defined solely by workouts and meal prep. We believe in balance. We’re also parents who love to unplug, enjoy moments with our daughters, and absolutely allow ourselves to skip the diet and eat whatever we want, whenever we want. It’s all about working hard and enjoying the ride!

There’s something about June 21st this year.

The longest day of the year. The first breath of summer. And somehow, all of life’s best things landed on the same date.

24 years with the woman who has been my partner, my best friend, my everything — Luiza, I love you more than words. Always have. Always will 😘

Alice — you’re 13 today. I blinked. How? I love you to the moon and back, minha filha 😘😘

And Melissa — never think for a second you’re not equally in my whole heart. I love you just as much, always.

Happy Father’s Day to me. I’m the luckiest. ❤️☀️

I don’t know if she’s actually training or just waiting for the beat to drop. 😭 When the pre-workout hits and the gym becomes her personal dance studio.

When people tell you that you’ve done enough lower body training or that your progress is already exactly where it needs to be, they just don’t understand the vision. We aren’t training for standard aesthetics or fleeting trends anymore. The ultimate goal isn’t just to look fit; it’s to develop a lower body so structurally elite that it functions as a literal, load-bearing balcony.
If you can’t effortlessly carry a whole human being standing directly on your lower back while you casually stroll down the street, you still have work to do. We are talking pure, unyielding mechanical strength and absolute density. It’s time to get back to the heavy RDLs, the intense kickbacks, and the deep hyperextensions until the foundation is structurally sound enough to support a passenger. Stop settling for basic progress, load up the weight, and stay locked in.

2008: Friday night party. 2026: Friday night leg volume. We traded the drinks for the weights and honestly? I’ve never been more locked in. The priorities shifted, the discipline leveled up, and the results speak for themselves. We aren’t partying, we’re becoming him.

Plot twist: my wife, @luiza_bss_ trains WITH me 💀 And at my gym hour? It’s 90% dudes staring at Goku-level PRs, not women 😂

They say men don’t like muscle on women, but they’ve clearly never seen @luiza_bss_ in her zone. While the world debates, we’re focused on progressive overload and perfecting that mind muscle connection.

I’m the luckiest guy in the room being married to such a baddie who treats the gym like a second home. She hits every pull day with raw discipline and keeps a sharp eye on me to make sure I’m not slacking on my share of the lifting heavy.

This isn’t just a hobby; it’s a gym lifestyle. Having a partner who is just as locked in as you are is the ultimate gym motivation. She’s the standard.

Stay dangerous.

Solid week tbh — gym every damn day, work was wild, caught some sun. Real highlight tho? My friend @seafar21 showed up. Always good seeing you brother🤝
