POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I want to start this post off by saying that I am 100% satisfied with my playing career. All that it was & all that it wasn’t. I knew then and I know now exactly who i was & who I am as a player, a coach, and a human being. I am content.

All that to say this; MAN I miss throwing that ball. I miss competing. I miss working toward a common goal with my brothers. I miss trying to mold myself into the best ball player I could be. I miss chasing perfection knowing damn well I’ll never achieve it. I miss the chase.

Everybody’s career comes to an end at some point and I am so damn grateful for what came once my playing days came to an end.

I became a travel ball coach for a couple years. I became a personal trainer. I became a business owner. I became a high school coach for a year. And now I’ve become a college coach for the last 4 years. It’s been a journey.

I met some amazing people along the way. I’ve made connections that’ll last a lifetime. I’ve shared laughs with people I hope to know forever. I’ve told & heard jokes that I will tell my kids in the future. I’ve won, I’ve lost. I grew a mustache. I shaved it once and got roasted. I never shaved it again. I get to coach with my brother. I helped end a 20 year playoff drought in only two years at the collegiate level. I’ve cried when the season ended. I’ve opened my heart to success & failure. I’ve gotten to teach my future wife the game of baseball through her being a fan of the Beavers. I’ve given about 10,000 high fives.

I’ve had purpose to wake up & be my best self every day. Because once again, I am chasing perfection that I’ll never catch. WE are chasing perfection. I love the chase. I found my way back to baseball. I found my way back to myself.

Not a day will go by that I don’t appreciate everything this game has given me. Everything I’ve worked for. Everything I have now. I wouldn’t trade it & I’ve loved every second of the grind. The good days, bad days, and everything in between. To the next 20 years ⚾️🫶🏽

Take this post as your sign to take a risk you’ve been wanting to take. Start that career.

Swipe to the end to see the journey unfold 🥹👀

St. Cloud, Minnesota 🫡

I want to thank the city, fans and front office for welcoming my family to St. Cloud this summer.

I couldn’t have asked for a better group of men to share the dugout with everyday. You guys made going to work everyday easy. It was pretty cool how players from all around the country came together for a summer and accomplished what we did! I can say I made some lifelong relationships. I wish you all the best in your baseball journeys.

I don’t know what baseball has in store for me next summer but I trust wherever the game decides to send me. It hasn’t let me down yet. St. Cloud is a true testament to that!

Now it’s back home to Beaverville, USA. A new group of men with the goal of winning a State Championship!

Let’s fucking get it!

✨St. Cloud, Minnesota✨ This place will hold a spot in our core memory. Chris had an amazing opportunity to be the pitching coach for the Rox. He spent 3 months doing what he does best. I could not be more proud of what he executed in the short time. From starting out the first couple weeks coaching by himself with a record of 10-2, gaining trust with the players and staff, building the relationships/connections, and making it to the finals of Northwoods World Series. It was truly inspiring to hear from host families, parents and players how much they appreciated Chris as he cares about the players and only wants what’s best for them. I am so proud of you, babe. I am excited to see what this opens up for you. Now, let’s get back to ARC and get the state championship 🤍

The girls and I got to spend the last month with him. They were such troopers going to all the games and dealing with some humidity. But they had fun running around, watching fireworks, experiencing some rad lightenings, and sure loved seeing familiar faces of our ARC families. I am so grateful to have had the time off work to be with my people and creating new memories. Here’s to many travel days, baseball, crazy schedule and exploring more places! Chris, I love you and I am proud of you. You my people 🤍

If you find me training you’re 99.99999% likely to find a couple @tidaltanktraining products around as well 🌊

Rotation is 🔑 in these two sports so I use it with all my athletes of all levels from D1, D2, JC, high school, and youth. The results have been incredible & you can see how it directly translates to the mound, in the box, and on the field in general.

Hitter or pitcher, it doesn’t matter. There’s benefits for all rotators ⭕️

I’ve put countless parents & players onto this product. As someone that doesn’t believe in “training gimmicks” too much, this is one I will use for the rest of my training & coaching career 💪🏽

Whether we’re at the field, on the road or in the facility, this is the go to tool 🫡

🚨🚨Commitment Announcement🚨🚨

Utility Luke Haney has committed to continue his academic/athletic career for the NCAA Division 1 University of the Pacific Tigers. The Tigers are proud members of the West Coast Conference.

Haney was a big contributor to the Beavers offense with his breakout Sophomore season. Luke batted .293, totalling 49 hits, 33 RBIs and 25 runs scored. Haney was just as reliable on defense for the Beavers, playing high caliber defense at every position on the field (except Pitcher & Catcher) making him a true Utility.

The Beaver family wishes Luke the best of luck at the next level!
