This year marked something I wasn’t sure would happen again: my return to performing in a full musical production for the first time in nearly ten years. 😱

I’m incredibly thankful to @thepremiereplayhouse for welcoming me back to the stage as Corny Collins in Hairspray this spring and as Elle’s Dad, Aaron Schultz and Dewey in Legally Blonde this summer. These productions reminded me just how much I love the magic of live theatre from a performer’s perspective. 🎭

What made the experience even more special was having the privilege of performing alongside a number of my acting and voice students. Watching them grow as artists while sharing the stage with them has been one of the greatest rewards of my career. 🕺🏼

A special thank you to our directors, @alexnewcombweiland and @caseyparadies — both dear friends of mine and exceptional artists — for their confidence, leadership and heart. And to every cast member, crew member and audience member: thank you for making this return one I’ll always treasure. I’m so grateful to be back. ♥️

Little Miss Woods, Elle.
you have my heart. 💕🎀

What a dream it has been to come home and step into the shoes of the girl who taught so many of us that kindness, determination, and believing in yourself are true superpowers.

Elle, thank you for teaching me to embrace exactly who I am. Thank you for reminding me that kindness is strength, that authenticity is powerful, and that leading with compassion, confidence, and a little bubbliness can change lives. You have left a mark on my heart that I’ll carry with me long after the curtain has closed.

To this cast and crew, wow. What an honor it has been to share the stage with each of you. Whether we met for the first time or reconnected after years apart, I know I’ve found lifelong friends through this experience. Thank you for every laugh backstage, every word of encouragement, every hug, and every memory. This show was so much more because of each of you.

Thank you to everyone who laughed, cried, cheered, and supported us these past few weeks. Thank you for believing in this show and in all of us.

Omigod, you guys... what a beautiful chapter. I’ll miss the pink, the bend and snap, the Delta Nu spirit, and every second under those lights.

Left a little piece of my heart on the stage with Kate and Chutney last week when Legally Blonde closed. I will be forever grateful to the cast and crew for an unforgettable experience. Until the curtain rises again my friends 🎭

It has been such a joy and an honor to be part of Legally Blonde with this incredible cast, crew, and creative team. This production brought so many new experiences, unforgettable memories, and friendships that I’ll always cherish. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms and making me feel at home from the very beginning. I’m so grateful to everyone who helped bring this show to life and to everyone who came out to support us, it truly has been an experience I’ll never forget 🩷

just closed legally blonde as the head of wardrobe and personal dresser of Elle Woods played by Kianna Healy! this show is one of the oldest known in my life and I’m so grateful that I had this cast and crew to finally work on it with! we laughed, we sung, we ate, we cried, and most importantly we all spent our evenings pushing each other to be better! I love you guys! until next season darlings!

Legally Blonde by @thepremiereplayhouse at @sforpheumtheater was phenomenal! Im so proud of @mprostro and all my friends in the cast! What a fun, high energy romp filled with stellar singing, dancing and costumes with more pink than the Barbie Exhibit! Definitely go see this amazing play! I had forgotten about @clinton_2ndtnun UPS guy character and he was my favorite! 😅

Late in posting, but Ceci (and Raymond and Vernon) had a piano recital on Mother's Day!

They all did a fantastic job, and it was so fun watching them each play duets with Grampa.

Even more fun is the fact that their piano teacher is Jane Ruud! I've known Jane for what seems like my entire life - from Red Hot & Blue rehearsals to accompanying my SDSU Senior Voice Recital - it's very full-circle.

Loved that most of the family was able to be together on that day to celebrate these 3 kiddos!
